AM1090 Pledge Page

Paul from Granite Falls
I'm economically devistated but will continue to tell all even those who roll thier eyes, in my telling of AM 1090 or like I can't relay what I learn from continually reading left politics from the library. I'm ALLWAYS listening & My favorites are, In very close cronilogical order. Mike malloy thom Heatmann, Rachel meadows, Ron Reagan, Randy roades, stephanie miller Ed Shultz... he's great but a little too comercial, green, cuby. The only one I don't care for and it's certainly not a race thing is montel. As soon as I'm in the doe and not skirting death from lack of ANY reasonable helth care. I'l be donating and buying podcasts paul
Alexandra from Shoreline
Something is terribly wrong with the arbitron survey! Almost everyone I know listens to KPTK and loves this station! It cannot rank below the music only channels. Neither can KUOW. Who is pulling the strings on that system? Thank you for all that you do and I hope that you stay around. My daughter and I listen everyday!
Paula from Everett
Every day that I work in my studio...am 1090 is on. I listen all the time..I have already told people to listen I tell them if you don't want to listen to all the talk hosts..just start by being educated by Thom Hartman. I consider him the professor and have learned so much listening to him. I listen to Ed,Mike Malloy,Randi and on the weekend Ring of Fire gets my attention. AM 1090 is a must in these scary times. I like it too when any of them tell us to call congress over an issue. Bernie Sanders is wonderful on Fridays. I wish all Senators had his view points, then possibly we could go in the direction the country needs. I continue to spread the work and I am well over the amount of people you have asked for and will never quit telling people about 1090. As an Artist you should look into making an Arty..Logo. I would consider wearing a better designed shirt. That has a smaller logo, but does the right thing..helping to spread the word. Love you guys...keep up the good work.
Kristin from Reading
I live in a place where -- according to some -- liberals are rampant! However, my choices for talk radio are all right-wing conservatives, like Rush & Jay Severin. I rely on your station to give me an alternative to those LOUD voices. Thank you and keep it up!
John and Anna from Port Orchard
We listen to AM1090 EVERY day and love it! We rely on Thom and Ed and the rest of the gang to keep us informed. Thank you for being there!
Jeff from Tacoma
I am a huge supporter/listener of Tom Hartmann....I also listen to and love Mike Milloy.......I listen to the rest as well Ed,Ron,Randi, love the weekend shows with R. Kennedy. I try to patronize the buisinesses that advertise with you......Love the fact I'm hearing Hartmann in the evenings now too. I probably listen 15-30 hours a week....Thanks for your progressive talk.
Marilyn from San Diego, CA
I pledge to listen four hours a day online. We lost our progressive station to the Sports Cult last year. We organized, demonstrated, bought stuff, etc but it was to no avail. That's when I found am1090.
Bob from Tacoma
I listen to 1090 every day. Its the best radio I have found in the last three years.
Rob from Addison VT
They only broadcast two hours of Stephanie here, put on some idiot conservative for the third hour. Have to listen online. Glad to have the option.
Jerry from Gig Harbor
I pledge to listen to 1090 6 hours a day whenever I am able. I try to listen to Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, some ED and Ron Reagam, and I am almost always listening when I am in the car.
Kassi from Seattle
I appreciate all you do to give ALL people a voice. Talking about difficult issues and bringing them to the forefront for discussion and debate. I am hopeful that with these important discussions people are waking up. I see it and hear it around me and with this comes action and change.I listen to am 1090 when I am in the car and also at home. I blare it through the house when I am outside doing yard work too. I can't say enough about progressive talk and tell people I talk to to give it a try. Keep up the wonderful work! Peace, love, and laughter.
Valerie from Carmichael, CA
Our progressive radio station changed their format which left the Sacramento area without that resource. I listen on-line with two speakers to Bill Press, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann and Ed Schultz whenever I am home or working in the yard. I really appreciate your station and your programming. Thanks for being here and making your station available.
Laurel from Shelton
AM 1090 is the only radio station I listen to. I consistently listen to Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, Ed Schultz, Mike Molloy, and Ring of Fire with Mike P. and Robert Kennedy Jr. I often hear Gardening in the NW, I plan to catch Randi Rhodes upon her return. I listen 6 to 9 hrs a day, and pay attention to the advertisers to support them when I can. Thanks for the great programing - I would have to turn off my radio if it were'nt for 1090! Laurel
Frank from Shoreline
I listen to 1090 every day. At home the radio is on both upstairs and down stairs in my office. At work I get to listen not only to 1090 but also to the car radios of customers passing by my both. i listen to sterio 1090 more often then I listen to competing stations.
Matt from Tacoma
I pledge to listen at work, at least 5 hours a day!
Claudia from Seattle
I pledge to have my car radio set to AM1090 all of the time! I pledge to tell all of my friends about AM1090! You are a voice in the darkness. Oh, but I do miss Rachel Maddow. If it weren't for Ron Regan, I'd be lost from 3PM to 6PM.
Kate from Tacoma
Yes, I will listen to Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Thom Hartmann, Ron Reagan, and Stephanie Miller every day while on the bus, driving, preparing dinner, washing the dishes, taking a walk. I'll also tell all my friends about this great radio station. Thanks for great programming! I'm so happy Randi Rhodes will be back!
Duane from Kingston
I listen every day to Thom Hartman, and many times, the radio is tuned to AM-1090 all day ! I hold you guys fully responsible for our victories in the elections ! I'm the Head Roaster @ CB's NUTS, in Kingston. I got my job in part, because I had an AM 1090 sticker on my car.
Rick from Warwick, RI
I listen all day long online here in Rhode Island. I have one of your bumper stickers and I tell everyone I know thats into politics about progressive talk and that they can hear it online on your site. There's NO proressive talk in RI! one of the most liberal states in the country! Clear Channel and other conglomerates have shut it all down!!! I love Mike Malloy the most! thanks!!!
Stacy from Everett
I love this station. I pledge to listen as often as possible to the entire 1090 line-up, Thom Hartman in particular. The only exception, I will not listen to Randi Rhodes.
Marcy from Seattle
Love this station - Love Mike Malloy and Thom Hartmann! I sure miss Randi. How about squeezing in some Nancy Skinner, I liked her also. Keep up the excellent work! I listen to your advertisers and support them also!!
Carol from Seattle
I Pledge to listen to Thom Hartman & Ed Schultz and evening talk almost everyday. I am for progresive radio, we need more serious discussions on the important affairs of the country.
Steve from Lake Stevens
I will always listen as I do now--- bill press, stephanie miller, thom hartmann, and ed "the man" schultz, I listen every day when i am in my car or my work car. i try to shop at the places that run ads on your station as well, whenever possible. keep up the good work.
Rochelle from Puyallup
try to listen to 1090 from noon until the end of Ron Reagan's show every day. I listen to some of the good weekend programs too. Your gardening show with Scott is super! Thanks
Craig from GIg Harbor
I listen to AM 1090 during my commute every day.
Yolanda
I have to listen to AM1090 everyday before I go into work! You prepare me for the bombardment of conservative BS i have to put up with everyday at work!! I would have gone "postal" months ago if it wasn't for AM1090!! Keep it coming!!!
KT from Des Moines
I recently found your station and enjoy the sensible approach to national events. Keep up the good work !
Rob from Burien
I listen everyday, between 3-6pm- I especially like Ron Reagan (the radio personality not the president) He is like a breath of fresh air. I am surprised how informed and articulate he is. He is truly the great communicator of the Reagan family
Diane from Edmonds
KPTK is the only station I listen to. It has been my station since day #1. It got me through the years of Bush maddness, and I hope it will continue to be my partner through the next 8 years of hope. I pledge to continue just what I do now....24 hours of AM1090 daily. PS....I miss Randi!
Noemie from Kent
Pledge: to continue listening to Air America as consistently as I do now: for an hour or two a couple of times a week. 1090 is the station I turn to while on the road -- and has been for a couple of years. Thank you!
Lee from Kirkland
I pledge to tell three friends about Thom Hartman and Mike Malloy on AM 1090!
Alan from Seattle
I listen to 1090 to understand what is really going on. It helps the world make sense and gives me the perspective of intelligent people. Thank you to all of the people of AM1090 and the work you do to bring together an excellent line up!!
Chris from Ann Arbor
I pledge to support AM1090 by listening every weekday. When our local progressive radio station changed formats I was lost until I found I could stream the same Miller/Hartman/Schultz lineup that I've listened to every day for years. Now I have the added bonus of being able to listen in the evenings when my former station would fade off into the ozone. When I found an iPhone App that allows me to listen to 1090 even while I'm out walking the dog. Thanks for being there!
Marilyn from Tukwila
I PLEDGE TO LISTEN TO 1090 AT LEAST 5 HOURS THOM HARTMAN IS BRAINY AND FILLS OUR HEAD WITH KNOWLEDGE. AND ED SHULZT IS VERY GOOD. AND THEN RON REGAN VERY GOOD AND MY FAVORITE MIKE MALLOY. TALKS LIKE I DO. AND JOHN ELLIOTT VERY GOOD BUT I REALLY MISS RANDY WE ARE GOING THRU WITH DRAWAL. NOW MY SISTERS LISTEN MY BROTHERS. 3 OF MY KIDS THE YOUNGEST AND MY SON GOT YOUR STATION NUMBER FOR THE NURSES AND DOCTORS AT HIS CLINIC. JUST VERY COOL .
Doug from Maple Valley
I pledge to listen all day while in my truck at work and stream while in the office.
David from Nashville, TN
I have an alarm on my computer which wakes me every morning to AM1090. I'm a freelancer so I move from my bedroom to the office and usually listen the whole day. Love the lineup, just wish Randi was back on the air. Excellent radio station keep it up.
Hans from Monroe
AM 1090 and Air America are vital and need our support. I'm trying to find where to pledge $.
Pat and Joe from Kirkland
We have no trouble making a pledge to our favorite and ONLY radio station, AM 1090!!! YAY! YAY! YAY! We get to see Rachel now on MSNBC. We miss Randi. We love Mike Malloy, even though his rants are a bit, sometimes. Thom is our intellect, bless his heart. Ed has done so well since we first started listening to him, when he began on this station. So glad to have Ron on as a regular. Thank you Jon Elliot for the time we get to listen to you. You are fun, too. The rest of the lineup throughout the night is welcome to us as we get up to eat, drink, etc. Stephanie is someone we look forward to as we get the day going. We couldn't live without AM 1090 Seattle! We've brought along family and friends to the station and they enjoy it, too. They aren't quite the fanatics we are, as yet. Sometimes it's disappointing to have to listen to sports, but we manage.
Armenta from Charlotte, NC
I enjoy listening to Progressive Radio 1090AM. I stummbled across this station while listening to music on Yahoo Music - CBS Radio. I've been hooked ever since and I listen all day when I'm at work. Keep up the good work. We need more Progressive Radio stations like 1090AM.
Patricia from Port Townsend
I listen to Stephanie Miller and/or Tom Hartman and Ron Reagan every day while driving in my car or streaming on my computer. I listen more than two hours every day. There are other commentors I listen to as well but not on a regular basis because of time constraints and scheduling.
Dave from Seattle
I wish you'd broadcast the Lionel Show. Thom and Nancy Skinner are a bit boring but everyone else is great
Lois from Shelton
I pledge to listen to AM1090 for more hours than I already do. Actually I listen to 1090 many hours a day, throughout the night sometimes, but always all day long, starting with my daily history lesson with Thom Hartmann and ending with Ron Reagan. Progressive radio talks on all sides of an issue and this is the only way we the listeners can be well informed. This is why I listen to AM1090 rather than the inane pap fed to the public on TV and by conservative radio. Thank you and keep up the fight. We need you.
Terri from Woodinville
I pledge to listen to Am 1090 3-5 hours a day...Monday through Friday. I really enjpy the Thom Hartmann show, he is so well informed and presents such good discussion.
Larry from Seattle
whatever you guys do, do not cancel stephanie miller. If I don't listen to her, I probably will change the station to some music instead. she is the best show you've got. She's alot better than randi rhodes, who was starting to get on my nerves ; no sexism intended by comparing two women. stephanie's light-hearted show helps lay the groundwork for thom's show which can be kinda heavy and nerdy. thanks just for being here.
Lynn from Davie, Florida
Just discovered you when my usual listening station for Stephanie Miller was broadcasting dead air. I went to the internet & What a surprise - I am also a Tom Hartman fan so I will definitely be listening for more than 2 hours. Thanks for being there, Lynn
Joyce from Olympia
I pledge to listen to 1090 AM at least 2 hours per day. I do tell my friends and I will write a letter to the editor of our local paper.
M from Tacoma
I like Thom Hartman, and Randi Rhodes but my day simply can't start before I listen to Stephanie Miller. I even purchased her podcast so I can hear the second two hours after work, that was a better choice than quiting my job because it interfered with her program. Please, don't ever get rid of her show.....
Lauriann from Kirkland
Listen to station from 9AM to 4PM week days. Love Thom Hartmann. All vehicles' radios set to 1090 AM.
Sharon from Manteo, NC
I listen via the internet every day. I love the Stephanie Miller show! I enjoy Thom Hartmann and his history lessons. And Big Ed always kicks butt. Thanks for a great station.
Chase from Lynnwood
I recieved an am1090 sweatshirt at the green festival lastyear, I wear it everywhere. I have had many people ask me about the station and loving to talk about progresive issues the door is open for a real endorsement. I believe many new listeners have been turned on to AM1090. I pledge to continue to spread the word and the sanity..Thank you am 1090.
Marilyn from Seattle
I pledge to listen to Tom Hartman, Ed Shultz, and Randi Rhodes Monday through Friday, and to purchase my goods at advertisers of this station. I found you by accident while driving one day. And was SOOOOO happy to finally hear someone who thought like me. Through MoveOn.Org I started working to elect Barak Obama in 2006, but all I heard on the radio was lies about Republicans. WHAT I thought; then I found 1090. I thank you. America thanks you. God bless you all.
Antoaneta from Duvall
My husband and I listen to 1090 AM every day. We are proud liberals and we need more radio stations around the country
Jan from Poulsbo
I listen to 1090 in the car, on my walks, while computing, every chance I get. I'm psychologically dependent on Stephanie Miller and the mooks, and now Fridays with Frangella. Uncle Ed Schultze makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about the mid-west, and there's always Thom Hartmann to make me smarter.
Sue from Kent
Daily/Mon - Friday 7:45am - 9:15am & 4:30pm - 6:30pm
D from Seattle
I pledge my support to listen to AM1090 as much as possible.
Carol from Seattle
I've been listening to AM1090 for a few years now. I talk about the things I learn by listening with friends and strangers, always mentioning that I heard it on 1090AM and from which show. Stephanie Miller is the best way to start the morning...and I also listen throughout the day to Thom, Ed and Rachel and love them all! I pledge that as I need goods and services I will seek out those companies who advertise on 1090AM because we MUST keep you on the air.
Terrie from Tacoma
I pledge to educate, entertain, and enrich myself every day by listening to AM 1090 Prgressive talk radio.
Glen from University PLace
I have been listening for years and will continue to listen forever, love yous all especially Mike Malloy and Stefanie Miller.
Larry from Seattle
progressive radio needs non-white voices during prime time. progressive radio is not progressive unless it can air black talk show hosts. come on guys. i hope that i'm not the first listener to point this out. stephanie miller show does not count, although she found out that frangela was a huge success. do you have to be the son or daughter of a political operative to get a slot on air america? a friend of mine pointed out to me that no black people attend the events hosted by kptk. if we had a voice on stage we sure would. love ya.
Melvin from Tacoma
I listen 1 to 2 hrs a day
Jon from White Plains, NY
Listen online many hours but I'd personally prefer Lionel to Stephanie Miller but I'm probable alone on that. Bill Press, Thom, Ed, Ron, and Randi are all great keep it up
Peggy from Olympia
I pledge to continue to listen to your station whenever I can . Usually I listen in the morning before work, sometimes during work, and on the way home from work. I also listen on the weekends. I don't know what I would have done without you the last few years! I love Thom Hartmann & Ron Reagan & Rachel Maddow, and the Ring of Fire show. I try to use your sponsors whenever I can.
Stacia from Seattle
I wake up to Stephanie Miller and go to sleep to Mike Malloy! I love this station and listen whenever I get the chance. Thanks for the intellegent programming!
Belinda from Lakewood
As I have verbally pledged/commented by calling the phone line - I would go into withdrawal and be totally lost w/out this station! There is no other "voice" in the Puget Sound area like this one. ~bdv
James from Tacoma
I listen to 1090 5 hours a day monday to friday. Ed Shults gives the right hell. I have been a fan since the first day 1090 was on the air. I get all my news from you guys and gals during the day. You put out information I cant get anywhere else. Please keep up the good work and call the right on all their lies. Thanks for a woundeful job.
Gayle from Anacortes
Thank you for the wonderful radio station. My husband and myself are very avid listeners and we pledge to listen at least 6 hours per day. We also patronize Sebo's Hardware here in Anacortes for all of our hardware needs because they are sponsors. Thank you again.
John from Camano Island
I listen an average of 3 hours a day, with the majority of my listening during my commute and on my days off around the house. I cannot say that I am particular about any one on air personality but more about content. I am very interested in honest discovery and disclosure of government and establishment malfeasance. I feel that light is the best disinfectant and AM1090 is a ray of light in a cloudy sky.
Alyson from olympia
I listen to AM1090 on my hour commute in the morning and at night and whenever I am in the car. IT is such a breath of fresh are to KVI and the other right winged stations here in the area. I used to listen to NPR but it has been dummied down to too much fluff. I don't agree with all of your hosts but most of them are pretty good. I must say I did not think I would like Stephanie Miller, but have found it a great comedy relief in how I start my day. It is fun to walk into work chuckling instead of being angry and frustrated after having listened to that right wing blowhard that is on KVI at the same time as she. I do wish your air wave coverage was better and it sucks when there is a cougar game on.
Paula from Everett
I have now for the past three years have been a listener. I listen at least five days a week four to six hours a day. On Saturday I listen frequently to Ring of Fire. Tom Hartman has done the most to educate me while listening to his programs. He gives constitutional information and so much more, he is a powerhouse of thinking and information. The other talent, Maddow, Schultz, Malloy, Stephanie and Randi..... completes the package of staying in touch with events and coverage that is affecting our lives. Two of my friends in the past six months are tuning in to 1090. It means so much to me to have this voice coming through when we face a chaotic times. Thanks so much for doing the work you do................Paula
Robert from Addison, VT
Here in blue Vermont they quit broadcasting Stephanie's show by an hour in order to put on some local right-wing blowhard. Thanks for making it possible to hear the entire program, along with your other great shows.
Gabriele from Federal Way
Making this pledge is really easy---I have all my radios (5) counting the car--- tuned to your station--all the time. Also I have had stickers on both of my cars advertising you and I have been telling people about you since November 2004. I listen all day long starting with Stephanie Miller and usually ending with Mike Malloy. Thank you so much for 'being there'! I don't know how I'd manage without you. As I work from my home as an Art Restorer--I am intersted in advertising with you as well, and look forward to finding out how this would work. Sincerely, Gabriele
Amanda from Bothell
I pledge to listen to AM1090 whenever I am behind the wheel. I drive a minimum of three hours per day. Keep up the good work!
Joan from Camano Island
I support 1090's presence in the world and have been and will continue to tell people to listen to the amazing, knowledgeable, interesting, newsworthy programming.
Denise from Seattle
AM 1090 "saved" me from going crazy before the election! I am committed to listening and "spreading" the word! Listen to AM 1090!
Linda from Everett
I started listening about a yesr ago. I can't stop. I love you guys! Thanks for the telling like it is! I listen 3 to 4 hours a day .
Susan from Bellevue
I have pledged and will pledge again to listen to AM 1090 almost every day. New to this pledge is a promise to listen to the wonderful Ron Reagan every day, as well as David Bender on the Sundays. I loved their coverage of election night. I'm thrilled that between local and national advertising I will have several choices the next time I buy a car - I have heard at least 3 different car makers sponsoring or advertising on progressive radio and those are the ones I will go to when the time comes to buy a new car. I pay close attention to your advertisers and specifically go to those advertisers with my business.
Joel from Renton
Thanks for all you do! Have listened an average 5 hours a day from the time you started broadcasting--various hours and 7 days a week. Where's Sam Seeder?
Christy from Seattle
I am a Progressive Evangelical and I pledge to listen to am 1090 whenever I'm in the car or have access to a radio at work. I love this station, the personalities are great and all very different!! Stephanie Miller/Frangela, Randy Rhodes, Rachel Maddow, Tom Hartman, Ron Reagan - They are all fantastic. Your weekend programs are also very informational. Thank God you're out there with real news, thoughtful commentary and humor.
Jeff from Eatonville
AM 1090, You're the Graetest !! I pledge to listen to you every day & night !! Except all the hours given to Cougar football ! Thanks for all you do ! Keep up the Great work. Ron Reagan is a great addition to the line up ! Thanks,

Cheryl from Lake Stevens
AM1090 is the only station I listen to on my car radio and I also love to listen on my computer at home while I am reading blogs and making comments all the place (and sometimes playing games)! I try to get everyone I know to at least give you a week's worth of listening before they decide yea or nay...I think that's fair and I think they'll get hooked! Go OBAMA!!
Sally from Jefferson City
I just found your station a month ago. I listen Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. via AOL. I am ECSTATIC about finding your station -- and the wonderful shows you air. I have told all of my Liberal friends and family about your station.
Rebekah from Seattle
Thank you for the sanity, truth and sense of humor. The passion and funny bits provided by Randi, Mike, etc make the current state of the US a bit less depressing. Just a bit. I pledge to continue listening daily/nightly.
Janelle from Bothell
My favorite is Thom Hartman! Also love Ring of Fire and Politically Direct on the weekends :-) Keep up the great work! (PS We need car magnets!!! I don't like to put stickers on my car, but a magnet I definitely would!)
Miriam from Olympia
I listen to am1090 probably four hours a day- on my am and pm commute and again on the weekends. I love the station and the programming!
Amy from Bothell
I listen to AM1090 during my daily commute (roughly one&half hr)as well as anytime i am in the car (which is often). I speak of 1090 often and have even turned 3 friends onto the station in less then a month! (yay!)
Randy from Vashon Island
I pledge to listen to my favorite talk radio station 4+ hours per day. I listen to most of Thom & Eds shows and get what I can of Randi and Rachaels show.
Elisa from Seattle
I pledge to listen to Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, Ed Schultz as often as possible. I also pledge to be involved as I can be. I also will try to listen to Randi Rhodes and Mile Malloy as much as I can.
Maggie from Seattle
I bring in listeners by calling a friend during a specific show that is on a topic of interest to them.
Daniel from Freeland
I listen to AM 1090 all day long. I start with Stephany Miller and usually listen well into Randy Rhodes. I've even got my Girlfriend and Her 8 year old daughter listening. I tell everyone what I listen to and why. Keep it up guys... and Gals.
Raj from Seattle
I support AM1090!
Deborah from Aberdeen
Oh... I do solemnly (and exuberantly) pledge to tell one and all about AM1090! It's my source for thought-full news and commentary. Nice to have this intelligent source...a refreshing alternative to the mainstream drivel. (THANK YOU!)
Carolyn from Seattle
I promise to listen to at least two hours of AM1090 every day. Actually, I usually listen to a great more than that. I can't imagine what I would have done without this station during this past year. Carolyn
Sarah from Seattle
I am so glad that Ron Reagan has joined the afternoon line-up. I don't know what I would do with out the information I receive from the Thom Hartmann and Rachel Maddow broadcasts. The excellence of their programs is refreshing, practical, rational and well researched. Thank you. My pleadge is to continue to be educated by smart news.
Dan from Redmond
Already gotten at least 10 friends to start listening. Thanks being the best station in Seattle!!!
Pat from Seattle
I pledge to listen to a.m. 1090 progressive talk every day without fail. I will frequent the businesses that are smart enough to advertise with you.
Royalty from Renton
I keep AM1090 in my earpiece throughout the morning. I leave it on in the kitchen for my cats when I am out. I will always support progressive radio!
Denita from Atlanta
Great station. Thanks so much, Denita
Kim from Renton
I'm 18 years old and listen to this station more than any other AM or FM station. I only discovered this when I heard The Rachel Maddow Show that my mom had on in the car. Ever since I've been listening to this station whenever I'm in my car and plan on getting a portable AM player. I love getting my political news from this station and to now know that there are so many people out there with my views and feelings on America's politics. Thank you so much for giving me incentive to listen to the news!
Michael from Renton
I pledge to listen to 1090 8.5 hours Monday through Friday.
Kit from Tacoma
I am definitely committed to am1090. I listen two hours or more daily. Great programming! And I tell others. I also tell the advertisers and make an effort to let them know I heard their ad.
David from Bothell
I love listening to Thom Hartmann (my free continuing college education) and Big Eddie Schultz as he speaks a lot for what I believe to be the true patriotic middle American in me. I also appreciate that they take so many callers from both sides of the spectrum and treat them with respect. I'll continue to stream 1090 at work and continue my listening education in the car and support the advertisers. Thanks 1090, keep speaking the truth!
Jeff from Issaquah
I have been listening for over 2 years. Sometimes for 5 hours per day. The information provided here is second to none. By none I mean Dori Monson, Rush, Michael Medved, and the like. If you require fresh, cutting edge information on what is really going on in politics and the world, then AM 1090 is your only place to listen. Thank you progressive talk!
Patricia from Seattle
Talk 1090 helps me keep my sanity, informs and entertains me! I pledge to listen at least 3 hours a day. I patronize businesses that support 1090.
Jim from Arlington
People often say "how do you know about all these things you talk about" and I tell them my main sources of information are the hosts that are offered on AM 1090. I'm able to listen at least six hours a day and thank you for providing such great programing.
Chris from Sammamish
I listen (and pledge to continue)to Stephanie, Thom, Ed and Randi as much as I can each day, whether at home, on-line or in the car. At least 3 hours collectively each day. Go Progressives!
Craig from Concrete
I listen to am1090 from Stephanie Miller to Mike Malloy...keep up the destruction of right wing radio with the truth!!
Fred from Coquitlam, BC, Canada

I can hardly get reception on the radio, and theres no way I could listen to you at work. But, I do listen as much as possible, and tell everyone here in BC Canada where and why they should listen to your station. Any time I'm in Washington, I will shop at your sponsors. Good Luck and God Bless.

Phyllis from Seattle

I have pledged before, so this is an update. I pledge to listen from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm and from 8 pm on. I carry your logo on my canvas bag purchased on your site and am having my poems published by Bennett and Hastings, having discovered them via their advertising with you.

Wayne from Seattle
I listen almost every day, and have ben doing so for over 5 years.
Bev from Lakebay
Whenever the radio is on it will be tuned to am1090. thanks for doing such a great job
Belinda from Lakewood
Not only do I listen while at work, I am on the website as I type this listening to best of Bill Press...-and doing a project for work on my PC. I could listen to something on TV, but so much of political news on cable plays one liners from candidates and then proceeds to lie about what Sen Obama meant and sugar coats war monger Sen McCain...
Rick from Warwick, RI
I live and work in Rhode Island. I listen ALL DAY (from 9AM EST to 5PM at work. My co-workers love it too! There is NO Progressive talk in the area, as Clear Channel has bought up ALL the stations, and put right-wing stuff ALL OVER the airwaves. So thanks!, and PLEASE KEEP IT COMING!!! I do hear and support your national advertisers. For instance, I went out and rented, "The Hammer", and enjoyed it, after hearing it advertised on your station. Thanks!!!!!
Dumpy from Tacoma
I drive a lot for work. I care for elderly and sick people in their homes. I have always, and will always listen to AM 1090. My son likes you too. I listen at home as well. I'll continue to spread the word.
Adam from Marysville
I support AM1090. I used to buy my groceries from Albertsons but now i buy them from safeway because they advertise on AM1090. I Listen closely to the advertisers on am 1090. thanks, Adam 28, Marysville
Hersh from Seattle
I pledge to listen in the morning with Steph and her gang of pervs. I listen to rACHEL, AND rANDY AND LOVE MIKE. Fresh air replacing fetid right wing trash transmissions.
Don from Yelm
I currently listen to Air America on the way to and from work (total one hour drive time) and at lunch. Addtionally, I listen every other time I get in the car as well as listening online at work. Probably 3.5 to 4 hours a day average.
Bill from Tacoma
I listen to 1090 at least two hours every day. Stephanie Miller is a great way to start the day and Thom Hartman is always thought provoking and has great guests. I also enjoy Randi Rhodes and of course, Mike Malloy, the unrepentant truth teller at night. I talk to everyone about the great shows on 1090. Here's to many more years of intelligent progressive views in the Seattle radio market.
Michael from Seattle
Since your inception, I have been listening to AM1090 for several hours a day, and I shall continue to do so. I've found that what I hear on 1090 usually comes out weeks later, and at least 90% of what the hosts say is true. Thanks for existing as the only truly liberal radio in America (now that NPR is going Republican, yuck) Sincerely, Michael
Hersh from Seattle
I listen for at least 5 hours per day. I love Steph in the AM, and the Redhead at lunch, Randy and Mike at night. Of course, Dr. Maddow. I chose Michael's Toyota to buy my Prius because he advertises on 1090. Also Seattle Laptop.
Marian from Seattle
I pledge to continue listening many times a week for as long as possible. I just wish you were broadcasting on weekends as well.
Ed from Hansen
I pledge to continue listening to KPTK at least as much as I currently do, which is 7 days a week, whenever I'm near a radio, sometimes listening to favorite hosts while monitoring TV or reading, or playing the piano! I can't stand to miss even a little piece of info or interview that Thom, Ed, Rachel, Rhandi, Mike or Stephanie might feature, and Bobby Kennedy, Sam Seder and others I don't alwasy catch are wonderful to have available, too. I personally think that Thom Hartmann is a national treasure; we are VERY lucky to have such a modest and mature ADULT on the radio! What did we do before we had Air America and its affiliates on the air! It's a great mix of serious, but not boring, and light fun and even weird (Mike, sometimes) and goofy (Stephanie and cohorts, often - more funny material in a week than in a whole season of, say, Saturday Night Live!), that helps to keep me charged up and 'in the fight.' Featured authors and 'movers and shakers' interviews are most useful. I do my best to purchase from and recommend your local and national sponsors whenever I can. Many thanks to them for keeping you on the air. May you ever reign on the airwaves!
Karl from Seattle
I LOVE AM 1090 and listen to it every day. I pledge to encourage everyone I know to listen.
Nancy from Imperial, PA

I live in the western suburbs of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and we have lost our only progressive radio station. We lost Thom Hartmann and a wonderful local talent Lynn Cullen. Finding AM1090 on Thom's website has been a lifeline. I have your station streaming on my laptop all day! The 3 hour time difference is actually working to my advantage! And yes I am telling my friends. I can easily pledge to listen 8 hrs a day!

Lyn from Arlington
I pledge to listen every for 4-6 hrs every week-day. I especially enjoy Stephanie Miller & Ed Schultz. I have also supported many of your local advertisers & all have been top-notch. It is so important for us to have a progressive voice out there. Keep up the good work! Lyn
Jane from Seattle
I just discovered AM 1090, having been an npr junkie, but now I am hooked! I can spend the whole day alone and still know that I am not alone in my views. I pledge to listen daily, patronize your sponsers and spread the word.
Jon from Bow
I pledge to listen to Thom Hartman almost every day. He's the best. And then I also listen to Rachel Madow, Ring of Fire, Stephanie Miller. Please consider repeating the Thom Hartman show several times a day.
Janet from Sacramento, CA
I will pledge 6 hours x5 days.
Yerda from Bayview
I am so grateful to find a place to hear voices who base their opinions on knowledge, attention to the principles of truth and still with tolerance to the ideas of other voices.
Tom from Puyallup
AM1090 has been a lifeline in sorting out all of the insanity that is taking place in our political system. Thank you AM1090 for bringing some sanity and a ray of hope to what would otherwise be a dreary and depressing media world.
Patricia from Lake Stevens
I pledge to continue to listen for Stephine through Randi. The radio or computer is on all day. I have listened to your station for about I year now and have learned more than any other time in my life. Bringing your station into my home has empowered my whole family. My husband(47)has registered to vote for the first time in his life. He now listens most of the day, too. We interact in a whole new way. Thank you for the truth!!!!
Rick from Warwick, RI
I Pledge to continue to listen online ALL WORK DAY! I love Air America and Jones Radio Programs, so do my work mates! Please get more national advertisers so I can thank them and support them. Your stream is great, Thanks so much!!!!!!!!
Tom From Federal Way
I'll listen every day.
K from Seattle
I listen to AM 1090 at least 3 hours a day. And I support businesses that advertise on AM 1090.
Mark from Seattle
I listen whenever I'm in my car. I listen to Stephanie Miller every morning. I definitely patronize advertisers whenever I can. Have had Zan do some plumbing, shop at Not a Number gifts, eat at the Asteroid, Portage Bay, etc. And I'm always certain to tell them how I found them.
Karen from Edmonds
Thank you for reporting the truth about current issues and letting us know what we can do to make a difference. I especially appreciate the many interviews with politicians. I pledge to listen for atleast 2 hours a day. I leave the radio on so my 2 16 year olds and 11 year old can also hear what is going on in the world. When I arrive home from work it is refreshing to see that the radio station is still tuned to 1090 and my eldest can articulate his opinions on current events. I pledge to make sure my children are informed citizens who vote and remain concerned about our country, world and enviornment.
Gloria from Fox Island
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 at least 20 hours a week
Charles from Snohomish
I pledge to spread the Progressive word about AM 1090 and all canidates who want to return the country to the Middle Class.
Caroline from Enumclaw
I pledge to continue to AM1090, keep my window sticker on my car and play AM1090 with my friends in the car. I pledge to buy goods and services from their advertisers. I have already ordered items from EvolveFish.com and in the comments section I asked them to "continue to advertise on AM1090 in Seattle!".
Mary from Bellingham
I wake up to 1090 AM on my clock-radio and listen throughout the day whenever I am near a radio or am on my computer.
Mark from Shoreline
I pledge to listen to AM1090 for at least 3 hours a day, make my friends listen to it while around me, and tell many people about the station. I also pledge to help elect Barack Obama to POTUS
John from Seattle
We have 1090 on in the office 8-14 hours a day. We pledge to keep it up!
Curtis from Sumner
After a brief sware with conservative talk radio and the realization that it was hate-mongering propaganda that made all the problems in our country "somebody else's fault" and the repetitious catch phrases like "Liberal Media" I was turned on to Air America about 5 years ago, and I immediately became hooked. I feel like Thom Hartmann is the professor I never had, as I didn't go to college. I have purchased from several of your advertisers. I am able to listen all day at work by streaming you online, plus on the AM radio to and from work. So: I do now, and pledge to continue to listen to am 1090 a minimum of 8 hours a day Monday through Friday. I would feel lost without it, as I don't trust any other news source. Thank you thank you! Curtis
JC from Seattle
So glad to hear a station that hasn't succomb to the right wing pressure tactics and propaganda!
Belinda from Tacoma
i listen constantly - even have it on line right now as I am sorting boxes while I am on vacation at home! I mentioned the station as part of my political discussions when referring to various view points of different venues. i write out the call numbers for people when they ask where the station is.... I would be devastated if this station went away as even another station that had one or two progressive hosts years ago, are leaning more and more the other way.
Carla from Seattle
I listen for 8 to 10 hours a day, at least (streaming on the internet during work, thank you for offering that!). I love all of the shows (except the gardening, I have no yard). I discuss what I hear with my friends and let them know where I get my information. Love you guys!
Chuck from Bellevue
I listen to AM 1090 for about 10 hours a day 7 days a week. It is the ONLY station that broadcasts anything close to the truth in the entire Pacific Northwest. I have given business to advertisers and if possible I only patronize businesses that I hear about on 1090. GREAT JOB
David from Gig Harbor
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 live and on the web when I travel at least daily.
Fred from Snoqualmie

After over 40 years as a voting conservative I have discovered that I am not a Republican...at least not a Republican as the party seems to exist these days. My values and objectives cannot match up with the GOP as it is and has been for the past 20 years or so. I am an Obama supporter...have been since he appeared on the primary scene and I might even consider myself a liberal in many areas, such as social justice, environment, and "everyone" rights...the loss thereof! I am disgusted with the current state of our economy, the war in Iraq, our foreign relations (do we have any left...at least good relations) and the legacy we are leaving to our children and to their children. Change will be incremental and it must be real. I believe that Obama will stir things up enough to force our representatives and senators to finally deal with some of these challenges and that we will see some modicum of progress. This (Obama's) example will "rub off" on all of us, conservatives and liberals and everyone in between.

Kono from Normandy Park
I pledge to listen to 1090AM at least 2hrs a day (currently listening at least 8hrs a day) and I pledge to tell all my friends to listen too. If I may ask that you continue to use facts & research those facts so that "speaking the truth" is still our primary unifying motivation to change the way things are in America today. I've searched long to find a station that speaks the truth, does their research, and entertains all at the same time - I'm home..Thanks:)
Madison from Everett
I listen every time I am in the Car and I installed an am antenna to listen at work. I am part owner of the only gay, lesbian and transgender nightspot in Everett. We listen every day!
Victor from Edgewood
I pledge to listen to Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Mike Maloy, and Ring of Fire, and others every day. I also tell other people about your station and to listen to it. Both my wife and I love listening and getting information every day.
K from British Columbia, Canada
will listen at least 4 hours a day...usually on from about 7AM until 10PM Thanks
Jon from Delaware
I live on the east coast of the US. Just wanted to thank you so much for putting on progressive thought on the airwaves. I work all day with the help of your great station. Thank you so much for all you do, I have some associates listening as well. AM 1090 ROCKS
Cynthia from Seattle
I drive a lot for my job (I'm a nurse who visits very ill people in their homes). This is THE station that I listen to both in my car and at home. I definitely tell others to listen, especially to Thom Hartman(n?) Thanks for keeping this going...I have also gone to different advertisers that I've heard on this station, most recently Geno's on Ambaum. Cynthia
Collin from Snohomish
I was flipping through the am dial when I stumbled upon Thom Hartmann's show. Ever since I've tuned in to listen to many of the great shows that AM1090 plays. The info you get on this station is unlike any other programming I've ever heard and it's refreshing to hear something informed and intelligent.
Mark from Tacoma
I pledge to Listen to this station at least 8 hours a day, and to tell all my Friends and Vendors I come in contact with about this Station.
Keith from Lynnwood
I'm a BIG fan and I hereby pledge to listen to AM 1090 as often as I possibly can. I've habitually enjoyed the Stephanie Miller Show for a couple of years now. Also love Thom Hartmann and Randi Rhodes. Thank you for bringing informed, progressive talk to the Seattle area.
Craig from Tacoma
Progressive talk,in any form, has too long been absent from our society. I pledge to listen to Tom Hartmann as often as is possible and to tell as many people as I can about his exceptional show. I also pledge to take note of sponsors of the show and to patronize their buisnesses whenever I can and ask others to do the same!
Carolyn from Olympia
I am so thankful for this station! I listen to it in the car to the exclusion of all others. Now that the corporate media has ceased all practice of journalistic ethics, it is so important to have a source for reliable, thoughtful reporting. I recommend the station to anyone I can and will use the services advertised on this station. Please keep up the great work. Those of us who are not "low info" voters need to have a voice.
Deborah from San Diego, CA
Thank you AM1090 for streaming live. I found you on my hero, and favorite author, Thom Hartmann's page after our foolish Clear Channel conglomerate pulled our progressive talk station here in San Diego. Now I listen all day in my office. I wish I could hear you in my car (the Sirius programming isn't as good as yours). I promise to support your advertisers the next time I travel to the Puget Sound area. Deborah
Kathleen from Bellingham
I not only support AM1090 by listening but I want your advertisers to know that I will by their products. I have purchased an Oreck vacuum, bought a mattress set from Macy's, shopped at Super Suppliments, bought paint from Best Paint (and will again soon), purchased flowers through Proflowers, use Carbonite for backup, shopped at Walgreens, and my son has purchased a flat screen t.v. from Video. Only. These are only the ones that I can remember right now but I do want businesses to know that I appreciate their support of AM1090 and will support the m in return.
Libby from Issaquah
I pledge to listen to AM1090 for a minimum of 2 hours per day
Norm from Carnation
I listen to AM1090 from dawn to dark! My car sports window stickers "HAD ENOUGH,VOTE DEMOCRATIC" ; "IMPEACH BUSH" ; AND AM1090. I start conversations with strangers about gas prices, war, etc. Everyone I talk to is sick about what's happening, so then I suggest that they listen to AM1090. Keep up the great programming!
Allyn from Bellevue
I pledge to seek services from, and support advertisers on AM 1090. I will support businesses that support Democratic and Progressive Ideals by spending our money with, and actively promoting those businesses. I will also actively oppose and not shop at businesses that support extreme rightwing hate mongers by advertising on their shows. We did not support Nazis in WWII, no need to support NeoCons now.
Minerva from Honolulu
I pledge to listen to AM1090 2 hours a day. There are no progressive stations here on the islands...I am so thankful my boyfriend introduced me to AM1090.
Zels from Lake Forest Park
I have supported 1090 since you left your Country Western Format and signed on with Air America. I will continue to support 1090. I listen off and on 24 -7. I really liked the Young Turks and that's how I used to start my day. I go back to Mark Maron, and Mark Riley (SIC) and Morning Sedition. I listened to Rachel Maddow and Chuck "D" and Liz Winstead. I have liked all of them. I know my likes maynot go along with the rest of your listeners so I trust your judgement. I go out of my way to shop at Dunn Lumber, Greenwood Hardware, the Asteroid Cafe and I have talked people into supporting the Plumbing Lady, Zann's (SIC). I spent about two decades in radio and I know the importance of advertising and listener support. I will continue to listen off and on around the clock 24-7. Both my car radio and my personal radio are tuned to 1090. I will help in anyway you want to keep Progressive Radio in Seattle. Just ask. Zels
Rick from Shoreline
5 hours per day x 5.
John from Seattle
I used to listen to KEXP during my morning commute across the 520 crawlway and to AM 1090 on my way back in the evenings. But now I listen to AM 1090 both ways, and I listen to AM 1090 as much as I can throughout the day on the Internet. :-) I just ordered a handful of bumper stickers for my car and my wife's car, plus extras for anyone who might happen to ask me where I got mine. :-) Keep up the great work you do!
Larita from Raceland
I listen for the full 8-12 hrs that I am at work in Kentucky on www.am1090seattle.com, that means I force my coworkers to listen as well.
Lucas from Seattle
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 for at least 2 hours per day.
Susan from Bellevue
I listen to KPTK AM1090 every weekday from 8:00 am to 5:00 - and I am now adding the extra hour that Rachel Maddow's show is on. Thank you for that! I also listen to the Saturday shows. When I go into Dunn Lumber or the Bellevue Design Center or any other advertisers I hear on KPTK, I make sure they know I appreciate their support for KPTK and that I am shopping there BECAUSE of their support. I called the auto companies when they were advertising to tell them that when the time comes for me to get a new car, I will check them out first because of their support. I've ordered coffee, vitamins and other products from advertisers. I wish I needed siding right now. ;-) I have already used the services of advertisers for carpet cleaning, painters and tile BECAUSE they advertised. And I've been totally satisfied. Thanks for everything you do!
Catherine from tacoma
I start every day listening to Thom Hartmann. I pledge to spread the word about this radio station to anyone who will listen. Thank you!
Cynthia from Seattle
I support AM1090 because it keeps me informed by telling the real story. The conversations are usually intelligent, informative, and often humorous. That's what keeps me listening.
Nicci from Hansville
I pledge to listen to at least two hours of 1090 AM Progressive Talk radio each day.
Janis from West Seattle
Thank the wonderful people who give us Progressive Talk Radio!!! I only discovered it about a year and a half ago and I listen almost all mornings to Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz and afternoons to Rachel Maddow. Without Air America our only source of news would be slanted and uninvestigated. Please, continue with these wonderful broadcasters. Thank you!!!
JoAnne from Kingston
I pledge to listen to am1090 for at least 2 hours ans I will continue to support advertisers.
Joy from Seattle
I listen to AM1090 daily, starting the day with Thom Hartmann and later listening to Rachael Meadows, Randy Rhodes, and Mike Malloy.
Gayle from Port Orchard
AM1090 is like an oasis in a desert. I listen from 4 to 7 hours a day. Thank you for this opportunity to listen to the truth. Gayle
Ilona from Tacoma
I promise to listen to AM1090 for at least 8 hrs a day (while I am at work)
Daphne from Edmonds
I pledge that I listen to AM 1090 6 to 12 hours a day. I am thankful to have a station that puts to words my long standing ideals, beliefs and truths.
Dawn from Fircrest
am1090 is locked in both at home and in my car.I am so grateful that there is a station that diseminates political truths. May you live forever! dawn
Jahmar from Lakewood
I pledge at least 4 hours a day monday-fri, most likely 7 hours though.
Paul from Shoreline
It would be a tremendous loss to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, should AM 1090 disappear or change format. I listen an average of 6 hours daily, and recommend to all my friends that, if they want true balanced commentary--and are NOT listening to AM 1090--they're not getting it! I especially support Thom Hartman and Rachel Maddow, as I feel they are the most prepared and interested in all perspectives, while putting forth the progressive agenda.
Dake from Bellingham
I pledge to listen at least four to eight hours a day!! And tell all my friends to listen as well.
Lisa and Bill from Bothell
We listen to AM1090 to get the non-corporate controlled viewpoint on current events. We also love hearing what Americans across the country are thinking. It's great to know that we are not the only ones to see that "the emperor has no clothes". Keep up the good work!
Linda from Ellensburg
I listen to am 1090 every day online. I have purchased products from your sponsers.I love having this station from Stephanie to Randy and beyond, when I can.Your programs are a savior to my sanity.Until two years ago I thought I was alone. Thank You.I will always support you.
Rich from Renton
It's so nice to hear the other side of news and commentary--the truth. I listen to AM1090 whenever I can. Keep up the good work!
Peter from Seattle
I pledge to listen at least four hours a day, and usually a lot more. Most days I listen to Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, and Randi Rhodes. I also pledge NOT to waste my time listening to Mike Malloy, who is a ranting, inflammatory, nut-job conspiracy theorist, who is more interested in sensationalizing himself and spreading his own paranoid beliefs, than in actually talking about the facts. You want to do all your listeners a favor? Dump Malloy (again!!) and just rebroadcast Thom Hartmann at night. Hartmann and Maddow are BY FAR Air America&# 039;s smartest and most informative personalities, and I'd be happy to hear them in the evening instead of during the workday. Consider it, please.
Harvey from Olympia
I pledge that I listen to AM 1090 4 - 6 hours every day.
Gerald from Seattle
I always listen to this radio station the whole day, while am asleep i have a radio on by my bed, then when i drive to work my car radio is tuned in, while at work still 1090, driving home 1090 at my radio, while surfing the net i go to am1090seattle.com and listen while i blog for Barack Obama, I really love listening to Stepanie Miller, Ed Schults, Dr Rachael Maddow, especially the best Obamatherapy Randy Rhodes, just discovered this station and i am glad i did, thank you Obama 08
Tom from Gig Harbor
I pledge to listen to Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow 80% of the time. Randi Rhodes is too often factually inaccurate and Mike Malloy is consistantly hateful in his comments, so I no longer listen to your station after 5pm. I'd love to listen more and if you replace Rhodes and Malloy, I'll be there to listen and support your advertisers. Tom
Greg from Lacey
I promise to laugh uncontrollably at Stephanie Miller's show, listen conscientiously to Thom Hartman, and support all my other favorites on AM 1090 as often as possible!
Marla from Lynnwood
I listen to Am1090 from Thom to Rachael, everyday, and have told many friends to listen also.
Peter from Bellevue
It is important to take back America, restoring freedoms rather than rule from fear. Invest in our infrastructure, including expanding Amtrak, rather than fight for oil in Iraq. We do not have the cash to invest today, but the design stage should begin immediately. I listen heavily to KPTK (but sometimes can't pick up your signal). I check the electoral-vote.com site too. I am a non-driver, and don't spot businesses which are not directly along bus routes. If you are located, say, 0.3 mile from a METRO stop, but not on the arterial, please tell us which routes serve that stop when you advertise. Even if your merchandise is too big for the bus (e.g., furniture), our exploratory visit can be on foot. If you serve alcohol, you don't want your patrons to drive home.
Ron from Issaquah
I listen to 1090 every chance I get in my car and at work. I listen at least 3 hours each weekday and periodically on weekends. I can't get enough of your programming and will definitely support your sponsors.
Mary-Alice from Marysville
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 every waking moment of every day that I can. Since AM1090 came on the scene, it has helped me to maintain a sense of balance, hope and a sense of humor because of the various shows offered, not to mention all the information I get, that is rarely offered elsewhere, if at all. I would be very depressed without AM1090. I am grateful for this amazing resource and thank all who maintain AM1090 and all the listeners who support it.
Mary from West Bed, WI
I pledge to listen to Seattle's Progressive Talk AM 1090 at least 2 hours per day and to tell at least 3 friends and/or relatives about Seattle's Progressive Talk AM 1090.
Miranda from Burien
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 at least 12 hours a week. I love your station!
Paradise Plumbing Staff from Seattle/Tacoma
We pledge collectively to listen to AM1090 Progressive Talk and to spread the word of progressive radio where ever we go. Sincerely, Owners and employees of Paradise Plumbing
Shirley from Puyallup
I am a new listener and I already stay tuned into AM1090 more than 2 hours a day, so it is easy for me to make this pledge. I start my day with Tom, and can't miss Ed, Rachel and Randy. My daughter never listened to talk radio before and I have her listening as well as her boyfriend and the ladies in our office. I continue to sing your praises to anyone who will listen to me. Keep up the great work!
Craig from Concrete
I listen all day and into the evening...i use your advertisers.....keep up the good works
Chris from Kent
I listen to 3 to 6 hours a day, I evan have an ear bud in dering TV time whith the famly. I laso have a bumper sticker an my car and I go to the stores and resteronts advertised on AM 1090.
Kathy from Kingston
I've been listening to AM1090 for 2 years now, since moving to Seattle. I bought an AM/FM radio with headphones so I could listen to Stepanie Miller (My Favorite!) during my ferry commute, then listen all day at work to the other programs with your streaming audio. I have been so thoroughly entertained and enlightened by your station- I am hooked! I tell everyone I know listen and lots of my friends and family are listeners too! Keep up the good work!
Doc from University Place
If there's a radio on in my presence, it is on Am 1090. I have glued all the buttons to 1090, programmed all the switches to 1090, because it's the only radio station in the Puget Sound worth listening to. When we heard that Julia's was a sponsor, we headed right over to the Wallingford location for lunch. Love Steph, Ed and Rachael, and listen for at least 4 hours per day.
Lori from Tacoma
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 as often and as much as I can (given that I work full-time and am in graduate school). Tuning in always gives me a lift and keeps me grounded at the same time.
Joyce from Port Orchard
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 all my waking hours, at work, at home, in my car. I pledge to support the businesses that advertise on AM 1090. I pledge to share all the information that I learn about on AM 1090 with my family and friends. I pledge tosupport whoever the Democratic candidate is. I have a AM 1090 bumper sticker on my car and I share with everyone I meet about progressive radio.
Polly from Burien
I pledge to always have my radios tuned to AM 1090. I can't imagine starting my work day with anybody but Stephanie Miller or ending my work day with anybody else but Dr. Maddow (hope I spelled that right). Thanks for always keeping Seattle in touchwith reality!
Charles from Renton
I pledge 1-2 hours every weekday and at least 2 hours on the weekend. Please keep bringing us the voice of reason and sanity. We appreciate you.
Kate from Bellevue
Since you began broadcasting several years ago, I have listened almost non-stop. I listen in the car, at home, and stream you when I am away (even in Europe for a month!). I love Stephanie Miller, Randi, Tom Hartman, Big Eddie. I love your new Sunday line-up. I am infuriated when the cougar basketball is on and don't like Mike Malloy. Otherwise, me and everyone around me listens to you. I have gotten about 10 people to listen frequently. I have a bumper sticker on my car and a poster in my window at home. Keep going! I love you!
Jon From Seattle
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 at least 9 hours a day while in the car or at work. I pledge to continue to patronize their advertizers and tell everyone I know to listen to this station!
Richard from Mukilteo
My wife and I both listen daily to AM1090. It is the default setting for both our car radios and the radio in my wife's office and studio at home. We especially enjoy Stephanie Miller, Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz. We also listen to Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, Sam Seder, Mike Malloy when we can. On the weekends, Ring of Fire is excellent. We have both told other people about the great lineup on your station and will continue to do so. Thank you for providing a progressive voice for our local airways.
Heather from Burlington
I pledge to listen to 1090 whenver I am in my car. It is the only radio station I listen to. It's nice to hear something more intelligent than what is available on right wing radio. I tell my friends about 1090 whenever we talk politics (which is alot!). Keep up the good work!
Rick from Bothell
I listen all the time when I can...never before have I been such a radiophile! But I depend on AM 1090 to maintain my sanity in these troubled times of the past 7 years... I talk you up to all my friends, and I always seek out your advertisers~ I only wish I wasn't so broke from this stupid economy! Then I'd actually have the cash to support your advertisers as much as I wish I could. I had Step UP Painting paint my house! After that excellent experience, It's bee your advertisers all the way!
George from Seattle
Thank you AIR AMERICA, Your All star line up of broadcasters and the owner Mr. Green have inspiredme to once again get active since the Vietnam War rallies here in Seattle and Eugene. Which I hear is no longer broadcasting your truth and what is now the "middle" on common sense, in saving our America. I now read the Nation and drop used copies to friends or casually leave one in the laundromat. I call my Honorable Representatives and Congresspersons, at least weekly and thanks to you guys I am heavily armed with the truth. I listen all day and in the evenings, great content and great guests. What a concept....the power of the majority! Also helping to stop this GOP runaway train, they should quote Eisenhower not Reagan!! Things are going to change only if we are vigilant and active in our Government. Thanks to you the truth will out and you can't beat an honest man. George
Mary from Seattle
I listen to Stephanie Miller every day for two hours before work.
Stephanie from Bothell
I pledge to always listen to at least 2 hours of am1090 a day and to support those who advertise on am1090.
Maria from Seattle
I pledge to stop being ILLIGAL when Obama becomes president, and to make my family love this contry more every day,I have heard to much of the greatness of this contry listening to this radio station. I will keep doing it and spread your name within the illegal Obama comiunity.
Rita from Snohomish
My husband and I listen to AM 1090 at least 8 hours a day. We listen while we drive and while we work. We try to support your advertisers as much as we can. When we need anything we look to your supporters first. You have given us hope in a crazy world. We tell our friends and family to listen to you. We have a sign on our car and one day hope to have a sign for our yard. Keep up the great work 1090. You are our beacon of light. Thank you, Rita and Bob
Dwight from Yelm
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 at least 8 hours a day.
Bill from Quinault
Hillary is endorsed by the neocons. If it looks like Hillary, OR republican is going to lose, There will be another '9/11 inside job', bush will blame Iran, and declare martial law. That's my theory. Do you really expect this criminal to step down because of some election? After all they have done? The war is not against terrorists. The war is against democracy. The war is against the truth. 'Truth is the first casualty in any war'- Free Speech is the second casualty. The media is the #1 problem in this country. How can we pretend to be informed if the media is not doing there job? bush is still in office and needs to be impeached. We need to discuss 9/11 lies continuously. The election is little more than a media circus. 9/11 is more important than the election. I want interviews with David Ray Griffin Webster Tarpley, and Michael Ruppert, Laurie Van Auken (one of the Jersy Girls) PS. I have no phone. I have very limited reception at night. (no reception at day) WE are pissed off.
Kathy from Olympia
I listen at least 4 hours everyday. Stephanie, Rachel and Thom are fantastic. I tell everyone about it.
Beverly from Gig Harbor
I love the brilliant minds of Thom Hartman, Mike Mallory, Rachel, Randy and listen as much as 12 hours per day. I'm afraid that I can't recommend this station any longer to my progressive friends because of Ed Shultz who is a male-chauvinist closed minded pig. I wish you would move his time slot. I am sick of him cutting callers off who disagree with his narrow biased point of view, tired of hearing him bash the Clintons, tired of what appears to be a disrespect for women callers, tired of his rants that seem to go on for hours. I ha ve tried and tried to over look all of this in favor of him having some great guests--but today was the last day. He is NOT progressive, he is NOT liberal. He is a bigoted, over inflated, narrow-minded, male chauvinist pig. I shall continue to listen to your intelligent, fair minded progressive hosts.
Nancy from Tacoma
I pledge to continue to listen several hours a day. I pledge to try to get up early enough to listen to Bill Press, whom I love. I also love Stephanie, Thom and Rachel. Can't take Ed, and like most of my friends, I used to like Randi, but her ego is way too huge now, and we can't listen to her carry on about herself each night. So, I can't pledge to listen after Rachel's show ends (sorry! forgive me!) Bobby Kennedy is SUPERB. Wish he was on during the week so I could hear him. I also think you ought to steal Ron Reagan Jr. for your very own. KIRO foolishly let him go - - make him ours!!!! xo
Robert from Redmond
I pledge to listen to Air America each weekday and share with my friends that I also listen.
Ous from Columbus
Great station and excellent content. I listen to it 40 hours a week. It is the voice of reason that was lacking in America. For that reason, I am grateful. Keep up the good work!
Bill from Seattle
I listen to 1090 every available moment. It's the best thing on the dial and it is the ONLY station I listen to at home and in the car. I use to force my kids to listen and now they even enjoy it!
Lydia from Federal Way
I pledge to listen to AM1090 as often as I can and to tell as many people as possible about the station. I also pledge to support the companies (except WalMart and that other anti-womens-rights/anti-abortion idiots)that advertise on your radio station. I also pledge to keep my car window sticker on my car proudly! Thanks, keep up the good fight and great programs.
Matt from Port Orchard
I love Stephanie (when I am out that early,) LOVE Thom, and Rachel, and Randi, and sometimes I listen to Malloy when I am out that late. Wheneveer I talk to someone about 1090, they instantly agree that Thom Hartmann is the best talk radio personality on the air. Even my partner, who despises talk radio because of his early exposure to people like Rush, allows me to listen when we are in the car together. I am thrilled to see Rachel on MSNBC all the time these days with Steph's future husband Keith Olbermann. You guys are great, and so very important to the future of this country. Activism begins with us!
Mark from Brier
I will tell 5 of my frends about you in the next week.... Mark....
Mikel from DuPont
I pledge to listen to Tom Hartmann and Ed Schultz Monday through Friday.
Adana from Spanaway
I support AM 1090 by listening as much as possible, participating as much as possible in today's political scene, and voicing my opinion about the direction of this country thru bumper stickers, conversation and voting!
Carolyn from Stanwood
I pledge to listen to Thom Hartmann every day and the rest of the 1090 lineup whenever I'm in my car or home alone. In addition to mentioning your station to my friends, I told my caucus about the station and have written to my local newspapers touting AM 1090, Democracy Now, The Nation and Mother Jones, and Alternet.org - all great news and commentary sources from a distinctly progressive perspective. Keep up the good work! Without this station, I don't know how I would have made it through the last couple of years. A democracy takes work. What kind of America do you want? Get the information you need to make a decision - then jump into the process.
Pamela from Redmond
I pledge to continue to listen to AM1090 during all my waking hours - whether in the foreground or background. I pledge to continue to support AM1090 advertisers, and to suggest that others support them too. I pledge to continue to educate people inmy legislative district about AM1090, and encourage them to listen, as well as continuing to hand out bumper stickers. I pledge that I will call or e-mail AM1090 with any ideas or concerns that I have.
Ronald from Renton
I will continue to listen four hours a day weekdays. I would listen on weekends if you had progressive talk on the weekends. My jeep will continue to sport your bumper sticker.
Brad from Seatac
I pledge to listen to AM1090 at least 2 hours per day. I love Stepanie Miller and Rachel Maddow. They impress me every day with the quality of their shows. Keep up the good work that you do.
Mike from Olympia
I listen at least two hours a day and so does my partner Amy. My favorite programs are Tom Hartmann, Rachael Maddow Kennedy Papantonio among others. I listen to Mike Malloy every night. I catch some of Stephanie Miller in the morning. I share news of this station with everyone I can. By the way, it wasn't easy to find this sign up, even though I here the pitches often. There aren't too many (if any) advertisers who serve Olympia. I have an idea for the station: Only use small business advertisers and ask for subscriptions. I would gladly pay $25 or $50 bucks a year to keep the station on the air and at the same time dump the repeated public interest announcements. It would be the equivalent of not accepting PAC money. Thanks. MM I wake up early and used to listen to the Turks. Now it's a new person.
Jen from Seattle
I pledge to listen, at the very least, four hours a day of AM1090, and only to miss Rachael Maddow when I have a damn good excuse to do so. This radio station is an amazing thing to have, and I'm pleased to see how many other people are listening out there.
Karen from Shoreline
I've been listening to AM1090 since it's inception, and have always listened for several hours a day. From here on in, I pledge to continue listening to 1090 for at least the two hours a day. I never miss the genius of Thom Hartmann and the passion of Mike Malloy...and if possible I also tune into Randi Rhodes and Rachel Maddow. Keep up the good work!
MaryKate from Bothell
I have fallen for AM1090! It's my new lover. My hubby gets in my car and wants to put on music and I slap away his hand! Without my morning and evening dose of AM1090 I don't know what I'd do! I even stream it on the weekend! Rachel, Stephanie and Randi I adore them. I listen to whomever is at the microphone (except when you play Cougar sports *sob* then I go into withdrawl). Thank you for being here! I will gladly pledge my morning drive, my evening drive and weekend time as well! I'm thankful for this station - who needs silly pop music when there's Progressive Talk Radio AM1090!!!
Richard from Kent
I listen at least 4 hours a day, and I tell everyone who will listen about 1090. ps: Thom Hartman is the best
Dan from Clinton
I pledge to keep AM1090 on my #1 radio preset and listen when I'm in the car, which I am everyday.
Mark from Auburn
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 4 to 6 hours each week day.
Pamela from Lakewood
I have audio-streamed Air America every day, all day ever since inception. Since moving to this area am SO happy to be able get it on the radio! I listen from waking to around 6pm when the signal degrades. As a previous years-long NPR supporter it has been hard to get used to the commercials but I am trying. My two suggestions are: air DemocracyNow DAILY, and get those obnoxious and false anti-Roe v Wade ads OFF this progressive station!! Our family favorites are Thom Hartmann, Stephanie Miller, Rachel Maddow, Laura Flanders, Ring of Fire and Sam Seder, but Randi is great too. I am learning to like Ed Schultz, but I yell at the radio a lot during his program and fire off a lot of emails. I used to call in a lot, especially to Hartmann, but the shows are getting so many listeners that it has become a long wait. I keep a bumper sticker on my car and tell everyone I know about it. And my husband leaves it on in his office 24 hours a day. My son listens to it in Portland. So I think you could say you have our pledges.
Mary from Seattle
I pledge to listen to AM1090 at least five hours a day. I'd listen 24 hours a day if I could. It's a valuable and convenient resource to let me know what's really going on in our country and the world. We have a bumpersticker on each of our cars, we wear AM1090 t-shirts, talk to people about AM1090, and we attend AM1090 events. I got a very cool radio/retractable dog leash for Christmas and always have it on AM1090 while I'm walking our dog. People have stopped to comment on the innovative dog leash and I use that opportunity to let them know what I'm listening to. Keep up the great work - I'd like to echo another listener's observation that "AM1090 is the Paul Revere of the airwaves."
Judith from Norfleet
I listen to Air America regularly, and particularly enjoy keeping up with Mike Malloy, Tom Hartmann and Ed Schultz. I recommend to my friends throughout the U.S. to listen to these talk show hosts and am pleased when excellent reviews of notable writers on politics are recommended.
Susan from Ganges, BC, Canada
I love your station. I listen on my radio at night when you come in clearer and during the day on my computor. On average I usually listen about 4 to 6 hours a day and will pledge to keep on keeping on. Your commercials are pretty good too. Keep up the good work. Susan
Patty from Orting
I pledge to listen to at least 10 hours a week - definitely listen to Stephanie on the way to work and Randi on the way home. I listen to am1090 when walking (at least 3 hours a week). The only problem I have is the reception in Orting - can't get am1090 after 5:30 pm.
Jeff from Eatonvlle
Good Day AM 1090, I pledge to listen Daily , week day 9-5 and weekends as much as possable. Except for cougar sports I only am stopprd by bad reception. I support your station & our causes everyday with AM 1090 signs & bumper stickers. I hand out extras to all who sugest they like the ones they see on my truck. Keep up the great work and we will too ! Our country depends on ALL of US !! Good Day, Jeff
Michael from Coronada, CA
I Support AM 1090. There is not a Progressive Radio Station anymore where I live..(San Diego) So I'm glad I found AM 1090. I pledge to listen to AM 1090 at least 2 to 4 hrs.aday. Take care..
David from Seattle
I pledge that I will listen to AM 1090 Progressive Talk for a minimum of 2 hours per day and will whenever possible patronize any business that advertises on my favorite radio station AM 1090.
Rod from Kingston
I pledge to listen to am1090 3 or more hours per day Monday through Friday and 1 hour per day Saturday and Sunday. I pledge to talk with 3 people about am1090 this week.
Sue from Carbonado
AM 1090 is on at 8:30 every morning, soonest we can get reception up here on Mt. Rainier. Steph , Mike, then Rachael, then Randi. We usually dont listen to Ed. We think progressive radio is great. Support your advertisers, though we live quite a waysfrom Seattle.
Anna from Tacoma
I listen daily, love Stephanie and the Mooks, Big Ed, Ring of Fire, enjoy Thom Hartmann as well. I have learned so much and share with others what I hear. Have an AM1090 T-shirt in my back window displaying the logo. I LOVE AM 1090. I have patronized 1800 proflowers and bought a select comfort bed. THANKS
Lori from Kirkland
I pledge to listen to AM1090 at least 2 hours a day and encourage all of my friends to do the same.
Diane from Seattle
AM 1090 is 'the' only station where I can get the real news and in just one place. The station kept me sane through the last election and was the only thing that kept me hanging on to hope. I start my day with Stephanie and the boys. I'm sure people think I'm nuts when they see this gray haired woman driving down the freeway having a good laugh with some imaginary friends. Then there's Thom and that is where I get my lessons in anything he wants to talk about. Then , I stay with Ed....and then to Rachel who gives me even more hope...I enjoy her on MSNBC. She could embarass all the right wing blowhards with her brilliance, if they'd only face off with her in person. I enjoy listening to Randi who isn't afraid to say what she thinks. I catch Mike when I can. So, my pledge is just to keep doing the same every day and to spread the word by bumper sticker, yard sign and lots of friendly chat. You're doing great, just keep on doin' it. Got any pins to wear and pass around?
Kimberly from Seattle
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 10 hours a day.
Charla from Seattle
I pledge to listen at least four hours a day -- two hours of stephanie and two hours of rachel.
Leilani from Bonney Lake
I listen to Air America from 10:00am till 6:30pm. Mon - Fri Amazing the info I have learn regarding our political leaders and government – keep up the great work!
Inez from Seattle
I listen to AM 1090 at least 2 - 8 hours a day (dependeing upon whether I'm working, which is due to George Bush sucking the economy dry). I also have a bumper sticker on my car. And when I get freebies from AM 1090, I give them to friends. Inez Lindsey
fmyerco from Issaquah
At least one hour of Thom Hartman and Ed Schultz daily, Monday through Friday...
Scot from Seattle
I pledge to listen from 8 am to 5pm 5 days a week.
Keith from Seattle
I listen from Stephanie Miller through Mike Malloy everyday and I tell all my friends to listen also.
Paul from Woodinville
I started listening to 1090 AM a year ago. I have become an addict. I listen Monday to Friday from 6:00AM through 5:00PM. Weekends, I listen at least 8 hours. Throughout the day I am entertained, educated, and motivated by Air America and the Jones Network hosts on AM1090. I recommend your station to everyone I know, whether they are Progressive or Regressive(Conservatives, with a challenge, "Listen and you will get hooked". I will support all Progressive advertisers' business, even if it means a few extra bucks or they are not the most convenient. Keep up the Great work...
T-Bone from Portland, OR
We, the underemployed, underdogs, and undersigned, do hereby renew and recommit our Pledge to be faithful and true and loyal only to you, AM 1090, while sulking about your fair city and environs, or otherwise hungrily listening online, we remain, Wet Kisses, T-Bone, Weeny, Chocolate, Bad Brad, Luci, Granny and Lil' Pit, Tweaky Tom, Burnside Billy, Pokey, IB Money, Sista Ruby, Belly Hop, Wrench, Gummy Bear (may he RIP and still listening from the Great Beyond), and all the Many Others at Hotel Old Town.
Dave from Gig Harbor
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 8 hours a day M-F and 2 hours each on Saturday and Sunday.
Claire from Snohomish
I pledge to listen to Stephanie Miller, Rachel Maddow and as time allows, Randi Rhodes daily. I love Steph, Jim and Chris, who make me laugh out loud on the way to work, and Rachel, who often enlightens me on the way home (I really miss Kent Jones, too). Thank you for providing smart, thoughtful, progressive and yes, even blissfully silly programming.
S.E. from Seattle
I awake each morning to AM 1090 and listen throughout the day on the weekends and for at least 2 hours in the morning on weekdays. I also keep my car radio tuned to AM 1090 (unless there is a football game on).
Belinda from Lakewood
I listen every week day! I used to begin morning shower, etc. with NPR [for various points of view] stations, then KIRO at work, but now begin with Steph Miller - she has me laughing out loud!! Thom Hartman is so very articulate, passionate and intelligent. Ed S is totally honest from the hip, too. Also love the other hosts, but no time to type every style/host right now :-) Turn radio on to 1090 as soon as I hit the office. Some of the weekend shows/host programming I enjoyed have gone off air...
Sonja from Woodinville
I pledge to tell more people about am1090 since I already listen well over two hours each day. I have a bumper sticker on my car in order to promote am1090.
Fred from Seattle
I listen to AM1090 on average 4-6 hours per day. I am so very thankful to find a source for the opinions, the information and the passion of a point-of-view that is alternate to the pap and crap peddled by mainstream media. If AM1090 was a public radio station, they would enthusiastically receive my annual membership pledge...for life! Thank you AM1090.
Dominic from Spanaway
I listen to Thom Hartmann because he thinks like me only better, Ed Schultz becausse HE IS THERE, achel Maddow because she gives great analysis and is somewhat fun, Mike Malloy because he is as incensed as I regarding the Bush Crime Family. Stephamie Miller is too whiny.
Kate from Port Orchard
I moved up here from CA and thought I had lost Air America. One day I heard Al Frankin's voice on the air and I have been a devoted listener ever since. I pledge 6 hours or more per day. I tell people about you. Thanks for being here!
Verda from Woodinville
I started listening to Air America in 2003 out of curiousity. I have been a faithful listener ever since. I go to bed listening to John Elliott and wake up to the Yound Turks. I pledge to continue listening and informing my friends, family and strangers alike of Air America Radio and encourage them to listen.
Mark from Seattle
I pledge that I will listen to 1090 a mimium of 2-4 hrs a day.
Mariah from Seabeck
I could have written PRECISELY what Lin in Renton wrote, so consider my having done so. :)
James from Vashon
I've been listening 4+hrs/day for several years and will continue to do so for the forseeable future. If I need ANY good or service AM1090 advertisers get the right of first refusal as well as a substantial willingness on my part to pay more for less for the right reasons. If you swing right all bets are off as I'm physically incapable of tolerating Limbaugh.
Al from Seattle
I always go to sleep and wake up each day with my radio set on am 1090. I especially like to listen to Mike Malloy who is right about everything except Israel, where he should keep his mouth shut. I like to listen to Randi Rhodes too. I have a hard time getting other people to listen but I try. When I meet other 1090 listeners, they are like relatives in a big family.
Gail from Seattle
I listen all day starting at about 9 AM for Thom Hartmann, usually listen through Ed Schultz, and hear a part of Rachel at 3 PM (sorry Kent Jones has left). I catch snatches of Randy Rhodes particularly if I'm in the car, and go to bed with Jon Edwards every night. If I have to get up early, I sometimes catch the last hour of Stephanie Miller. I live a KPTK life. I've tried to convince a local restaurant to advertise with you, and I'll continue to work on it (The Tree House on Leary Way). Anyone else who reads this, try their gourmet food (yum) and tell them to advertise on KPTK.
Clamara from Seattle
I love to listen all day to KPTK: Thom Hartmann and Ed Schultz. I'm 90 years old, and you make my days full.
Julie from Mount Vernon
I pledge to wake up every morning with Stephanie Miller, go to sleep every night with Mike Malloy, and listen every chance I get to everything in between! We need stronger reception in parts of Skagit County though! Thanks for all you do for all of us!
Lin from Renton
I pledge to listen to Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow and Randi Rhodes every day. I would love to have more of Rachel Maddow and /or Thom Hartmann and less much less of Ed Schultz (Ed sounds too much like Rush and in the last few weeks I thought I had the wrong station on) Thom is wounderful intelligent and positive. Rachel has very interesting guests and helps bring the real news into focus. Randi is well, Randi. She voices her opinion and backs it up with reasonable arugments. Even if you disagree with her you don't feel as if your side is without merit.
Art from Mukilteo
I have listened and will continue to listen to Stephanie Miller, Tom Hartman, and Rachael Maddow.
Rose from Seattle
I listen to AM1090 daily and find Thom Hartmann and the Young Turks the most compelling and informative of the program choices. I strongly urge that the Young Turks be aired at a reasonable hour. However, it is a treat for when I am unable to sleep to have something worthwhile to listen to in the wee hours of the morning.

I pledge to listen to AM 1090 stream while I work. We need to take back our government! We also need accountability, and to RID the country of the 38,000 lobbyists!
Andrew from Gig Harbor
I pledge to listen to your station two hours a day!
Dave from Olympia
I listen to your station exclusively in my car while driving, and encourage my friends and family to do the same. I also listen to the on-line streaming while home at my computer and in my shop, no other station will do...basically if I am doing something that allows me to keep an ear open then I am listening to you folks. Moving forward, I believe that accurate knowledge on the subjects of community and politics is absolutely essential in this world of ours and the personalities you provide are a great resource for everyone in this country.
Sue from Bellevue
I listen every day from 7:00 am to 5:00 (that's when Olbermann goes on the air). I just love this station and actively seek out your advertisers. I've used as many as I can and I tell others that I appreciate their support. Several discount coupons for restaurants were used as Christmas presents this year. When the time comes, my next car will be bought from one of your advertisers. Finding progressive radio when I'm away from Seattle can be tough, so I bring my laptop just so I can listen via your website. I'm even thinking of returning early from a vacation in Puerto Vallarta to make the Air America-sponsored cruise to - Puerto Vallarta! :)
Sean from Seattle
AM1090 is the most important radio station in the seattle area. I listen to it all the time. Sometimes I listen to the other side, KVI. Doing so makes me feel even more lucky that we have AM1090 here in Seattle. When I travel I miss my AM1090. I'll listen 2 hours. that's perfect for catching Randi Rhodes.
Harry from Marysville
I pledge to support AM1090 and to use merchants and products advertised on the air. I pledge to support Democratic Party candidates and ask my friends and relatives to Vote Democratic in the next election! I pledge to supprt those progressive members of Congress in their efforts to impeach the criminals in the white house. I support Peace and Environmental efforts and actions to change the direction of our foreign and domestic policies. I support and will pledge to vote for candidates who put Children and the Poor ahead of all others with regard to education, medical care and jobs.
Terry from kenmore
KPTK is the only radio station I listen to, and I tell all my friends to listen as well. Beyond that I support as many advertisers as possible. In just the last two weeks: My husband and I and two friends attended the live broadcast of "Its a Wonderful Life" (great fun), sent ProFlowers to a cousin in Illinois and a friend in Marysville (I've used ProFlowers on numerous occasions and highly recommend them), sent PajamaGram PJs to the toddler daughters of a friend, had a great massage at Habitude and purchased a few gifts while there, took my husband to breakfast at Portage Bay Cafe (Yum), and picked up some gifts and cards at Not a Number. I always let the merchants know that I heard about them on AM1090, and thank them for advertising. AM1090 advertisers are always the first to get my business, and if I can't use the particular service I recommend them to friends who can.
Theresa from Seattle
I pledge to listen often and to spread the word about the station to anyone who will listen to me!
John from Edmonds
I was so happy to hear about a progressive talk radio station. I used to hate talk radio, because the conservative/neo-con slant did nothing but make me crazy. I am pledging to am1090 because the truth and the progressive ideals I hear over this station are helping me regain my sanity. The hate, lies, ignorance and avoidance of the majority of the rest of the media has got to stop. I do my best to tell others about this station any chance I get and sport my bumper sticker proudly!
Peggy from Langley
I love to listen to Tom Hartman, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy and Sam Seeder. I promise to listen when ever I am in my car and tell everyone I can about AM1090
Dave from Trail, B.C. Canada
I pledge to continue to encorage friends on both sides of the Canada-US border to listen to KPTK whenever they can! Denocracy deserves our support!!!!
David from Tacoma
Every weekday i listen to Stephanie from 6:00 t0 7:30 then I listen from 11:30 till 6:30. I also listen to Gardening in the N.W. I am a mail carrier any any time a customer comes up to my truck they here AM 1090. When ever I get the chance I tell people about the station. It is my pledge to continue Supporting the advertisers when ever possible, and spredding the word of Progessive talk.
Steve from Seattle
I pledge to listen to am 1090 2 hours a day. I will also encourage my friends and relatives to listen to am 1090 whenever the opportunity arises.
Tom from Anacortes
AM 1090 is my favorite radio station and has been since I came across it on a drive to Seattle 2-1/2 years ago. I have converted at least three people into regular listeners and continue to try to get others to listen but more and more people are disillusioned to politics and have given up hope for the the future of our country. I however am more hopeful than ever and thankful to KPTK for helping me to stay informed on the issues of the day. Also, thank you for airing Ed Shultz from 12-3 as it gives me a guilt-free opportunity change the station a nd catch up on my sports talk. Keep it up! Thanks.
Cheri from Lynnwood
I solemly & happily pledge to listen to AM 1090 every waking moment in the morning and for as many hours as is humanly possible in the afternoon.
CD from Springfield, OR
Even though I live in a different state, I stream 1090 every week day from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. I work in a steel building that doesn't pick up any AM radio, but even if I could get a local station, AM1090 mirrors my ideals more closely than our soon-to-be-defunct progressive station in Eugene. I promise to continue listening if you promise to continue the good progressive work!
Nancy from Friday Harbor
I listen on and off all day 'til the sun goes down and even then sometimes I strain, to filter the competing sports station and yours, parcing thru the tidbits that come vibrating across the bending airwaves. Its great to have such a line up: thom hartman is my guru and the women and their mukes make me laugh trough my outrage. Thanks, Nancy
Dennis from Seattle
I will continue to listen to AM1090 for several hours every day. I will only listen to KUOW during WSU games and some of the very long ads. I will also continue to support your advertisers every chance I get. Keep up the good work!
George from Seattle
Ilisten daily to the excellent truthful line up on your station here in Seattle. Stephanie Miller then Thom Hartman, who now has me calling my Congressman and Reps. in Washinton on a weekly basis. Ed Shultz, Rachel Maddow and the Great Mike Malloy which is more of the Keith Oberman style truth that is the real majority in this country. I look forward to this next election and am more active than I have ever been. Thank You Air Amaerica and AM 1090.
Scott from Duvall
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 on my way to and from work (1 hr each way, sometimes more), on my work day driving to job sites (another hour per day on average) and at lunch (1/2 hour listening time). Total 3 1/2 hours per day, 5 days a week. Weekend errands as well. FYI - I can't get good reception in Duvall to listen at home, and can't hear you well when i visit Bellingham, need to boost your signal! I also pledge to patronize the advertisers on AM1090 as much as possible. Thanks for being our progressive voice in seattle!

My radio is always tuned to am 1090. I could not start the day without Stephanie Miller
Mike from Lakeside, CA
Thank you! Thank you! KPTK - Seattle - AM1090 Progressive Talk Radio!!! I am so enthused to have the internet radio broadcast of KPTK AM1090, available to me here in San Diego, CA area. In early November, the mega-media Clear Channel Corporation "flipped" our local Progressive Talk station over to another one of those inane "sports venue" broadcasts. I've just bookmarked player.streamtheworld.com-KPTK on both my home computer and my office workstation so I can listen 2-8 hours each day. Please accept this my "pledge of allegiance" to listen at least two hours per day. I'm even considering relocating to Seattle so I can more easily patronize the local sponsors. Now, if I can just figure out a practical way to get the live broadcast in my car, I'll be constantly tuned-in. I find the Thom Hartmann Show most informative and inspiring; it's become an essential nutrient for the hope and optimism within my Psyche. Then, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy, and Jon Elliot keep my momentum going throughout the remainder of each day.
Phyllis from Seattle
I already listen basically round the clock with the exception that I watch Democracy Now! and occasionally tune in to Art Bell on weekend nights and the smaller FM public radion stations when you are doing informercials on weekends. When you have Cougar football I watch a video. I'm glad you're moving away from infomercials on weekends. I'd rather listen to 1090 than ANY public radio on weekends. (I call Weekend Edition "Weakened Condition"), and it, like newspapers and most tv, leaves me rather frustrated. They change the subject just when it gets interesting.
Nancy from Seattle
I have listened to 1090 since the first day! My husband and I listen in the car. (Not listening is the hardest part of my turns to ride the bus!)Stephanie Miller (Goldwater-Miller '08!), Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow and Laura Flanders are some of my favorites. I tell people about your station all the time. I have a bumper sticker and yard sign. I have bought things from Not a Number Cards and Gifts, Goods for the Planet, ordered the gift certificates for the Asteroid and Jiffy Lube, won a gift certificate to the Coho Cafe and am expecting delivery of our ZENN ELECTRIC CAR from MC ELECTRIC VEHICLES any day now! I always tell the businesses I came in because of the ads on 1090. Thanks for helping me know what is really going on in our country. As a librarian, I believe information is power!
Cathy from Bothell
I listen at least two hours a day. I teach science at a junior high so I am up early and listen for 15-30 minutes of Stephanie Miller. I turn Thom Hartmann on during my prep, from 9 to 10 and again during lunch from 11:00 to 11:30 and look forward to Randy Rhodes when I drive and walk my dog and run errands after work. I often have Mike Maloy on while I correct papers, answer email, and pay bills. This is a fabulous station for getting information that is not available unfortunately anywhere else, except Bill Moyer's Journal, NOW, and with my friends and my family. This station has kept me sane and savvy. I am the democratic precinct committee chair in my precinct and I try to spread the word when I am "Vote for AM 1090" and have bumper stickers on the front and back of my car. Thank you for all you do. I pray to God that you stay on the air. Please tell your listeners what they can do to keep you broadcasting. Cathy
Catherine from Federal Way
am1090 is already the only station I listen to - except when football is on, or that auto show. I pledge to listen when I work at my computer and to tell more people about kptk.
Chieko from Seattle
I listen as much as I can all day at work and pretty much any time I'm working around the house.
Larry from Renton
I pledge to listen to AM1090 whenever I am in the car, which is at least 2 hrs. per day.
P. from Bremerton
I will listen to as many hours as possible, especially Stephanie Miller and Ed Schultz, and patronize your/their sponsors whenever possible.
Martin from Sammamish
I love everybody on AM 1090, from Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann to Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy. Joseph Heller asked in regard to his novel 'Catch 22, "What's a sane person to do in an insane society?", the answer is 'listen to AM 1090'.
Larry from Shelton
I will listen to Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, and Rachael Madow every day. This is an easy pledge, as I already follow this routine!
Karen from San Diego
I spend alot of time in Seattle and listen at least 5 hours a day to AM 1090! I listen mostly from Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy and then Jon Elliot. I now listen on the internet, from San Diego because Clear Channel decided to flip our one and only voice of reason,Progressive radio, to sports talk. Mind you we already have 2 other sports stations, and our home town teams are not the greatest. We were told that they could not get enough advertisers to support the station. They never did market it and gave the station 5,000 watts to operate on. Sports talk will be getting 50,000 watts. The progressives here will not be silenced, but meanwhile, we are streaming AM 1090. Have not figured out how to take the computer in the car so I don't miss anything! I have always appreciated AM 1090, now I am greatful to be able to hear it, even if it means dragging a laptop around the house! Thanks, AM1090.
Rick from Anacortes
I pledge to listen, as I have for several years now, whenever I am in my car 100% of the time, at least 2 hours a day. I love all the hosts, my sanity depends on your radio station, so I always try to give my business to your advertisers whenever possible. Thankyou for being there!
Patti from Anacortes
My clock radio alarm, car radio and home radio are all set to AM1090 so I wake every morning listening and also listen while driving. The Skagit Democratic Headquarters radio is set to AM 1090 and is usually on while the office is open. I drove almost 200 miles from Anacortes to Seattle and back to go to the station to pick up yard signs and bumper stickers which are displayed in the front window of my house (across the street from the local Family Practice Clinic and Island Hospital) and the Skagit Democratic office at 300A S. 1st St. in Mount Vernon, WA (next to the Co-op downtown). The bumper stickers are also available at the Skagit Democratic office. As part of the volunteer office staff I often tell the visitors about the station and encourage them to listen.
David from Olympia
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 for 4 to 8 hours each day at work.
A.C. from Cashmere
I promise to continue to listen to AM 1090 for many hours per day on my computer. I live in Eastern Washington and think of AM 1090 Progressive Talk radio as my lifeline. Keep up the great work and programs. I only wish we had Sam Seder on daily.
Alyson from Olympia
I can't tell you how great it is to finally have reason and balance in talk radio. I used to listen to NPR but it became fluff and nonsense many years ago. Every talk radio station is saturated with right wing nut cases. 1090 has rekindled my interest in turning on talk radio. I listen whenever I can, sadly the reception is bad during in many areas of where I live and on my commute and 1090 turns into a sports station sometimes and I get stuck listening to the right wing crazies or turning off the radio for music. I hope that 1090 and progressive talk radio continues to grow for those of us that have brains and want to hear mo re than propaganda and idiocy.
R from Tacoma
I listen to 1090 at least 3 hours a day- morning and afternoon commute times and either lunch or mid afternoon as well. No other talk stations are even programmed into my car radio.
Greg from Shoreline
I pledge to be an active listener to AM1090 - and to tell others about it whenever I have an opportunity - I am an Evangelist for AM1090!!!! Greg
Mickey from Snohomish
AM1090 makes my day. My drive to work starts off with some laughs with Steph and the mooks ... I have the audio on my computer all day and get my intellectual fix with Thom Hartman ... move on with Big Eddy and hear that my views are pretty common around the nation (funny that the main stream media doesn't pick up on that!!) and of course my drive home with Rachel and Randi. Only way it could get better would be for you to take off those silly Cougars (that's right, I'm a Husky!!) and put on more "Ring of Fire"!! Keep up the good work ... your programming has really nailed it. Thanks!!
Mark from Tacoma
I listen to KPTK over two hours on weekdays and I expect to continue doing so as long as the neo-cons are in power. I will continue to talk to my friends regarding what I learn on KPTK. I'm just grateful you're on the air. Thanks.
Jhana from Olympia
TWO HOURS!? I have it on EVERY hour that I can. We need you 1090 --- you are a lifeline. Never, never, never let anyone shut you down........... Thank you!!! Friends, post AM 1090 flyers at your local library and cafes -- make your own -- be creative and invite others to join us in waking up America -- before it is too late --- it is urgent.
Eric from Burien
I Pledge to do Breakfast with Stephanie, Brunch with Tom, Lunch with Big Eddie, and late afternoons with Rachel every Monday through Friday.
Andrea from Seattle
I listen to AM1090 from the time I get up in the morning until I get home in the evening. I love the way each show breaks up my day. The shows set the pace for me and get me through each day. Keep up the great work!
Alyson from East Olympia
Thank you for being on the air. I went from public radio to 1090 because even public radio has been taken over by corporate interests. Please do not go away. 1090 is all we here in WA have that is close to real news. I listen whenever I can!!
Willette from Seattle
I pledge to listen to am1090 at least 8 hours every day [usually more]. Thom Hartman gives me the education I missed in school. stephanie, Ed, Racheal, and Randie keep me laughing. And the group together give me hope that things will get better, andthere are smart people out there and in politics. Keep up the good work. Liberally, Willette
Aileen from Shoreline
I've been listening to AM 1090 since you started. Both my car and home radios are set at your station. I enjoy listening to Thom Hartmann for his extensive knowledge, Ed Shultz for his passion and Rachel Maddow for her upbeat point of view. My husband loves Mama:)
Michael from Renton
I listen to The Young Turks, Stephani, Rachael, and Randi every day and pledge to continue. I try to use products that advertise on 1090 and patronize the restraurants and cafe's as well. Fight the tough fight us and the country.
Bill from University Place
I pledge to listen Sunday through Friday at least from 4AM to 8AM and more throughout the day. (These are the hours I can guarantee as this is my optimum exercise time during the day.
John from Seattle
I'm a huge fan, I listen to Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow and Mike Malloy. Thanks for a breath of fresh air on the radio...
Lisa from Seattle
I pledge to listen to 1090 every day. I also put one of your 1090 signs in my front yard!!!
Gary from Sammamish
I pledge to listen at least two hours per day and I will tell at least three people about AM 1090. Thom Hartmann is a National treasure.
Carolyn from Olympia
I happily pledge to spend at least two hours a day listening to AM 1090 Progressive Talk Radio. My mornings wouldn't be complete without espresso and Stephanie Miller, even if I do snort the occasional scalding hot coffee through my nose at the hilarity. What a great start to my work day (minus the nose burn!). Thank you for being such a strong forum for progressive voices -- you're the perfect tonic to lift us out of the despair wrought by the current occupant of the White House. - Carolyn Cox P.S. I also thank you for offering audio streaming. Having Thom, Big Ed or Rachel blasting from the computer speakers gives me a sanity oasis when I go visit my Republican relatives!
Fay from Seattle
I will not (cannot) start the day without the Stephenie Miller Show, and I need my daily fix of Thom Hartmann and Ed Schultz.
Kate from Burien
I'm an old NPR junkie, but switched to 1090 to glean reality from the noise. Even though it is still difficult to tolerate the commercials and some off-target callers I listen a minimum of 15 hours a week. I would listen more if you had good programing on weekend mornings. Of particular interest (can't listen during the workday) are Democracy Now, Ring of Fire, Radio Nation, Clout, Randi and Mike. I'm hoping Ecotalk will be back soon. Will pick up Thom Hartman when I retire next year. Thanks.
Bill from University place
I pledge to listen to AM1090 at least 2 hours daily.
Candice from Camano Island
I pledge to continue listening on a daily basis to all 1090 has to offer. I listen to Ed S., Randi Rhodes, Young Turks, Tom H., Stephanie Miller, on a daily basis. All the others, such as Rachel M, Ring of Fire, Mike M., etc as often as I can. Thank you so much for bringing some real news and refreshing points of view into my life. I am so disappointed with the congress not standing up to these war criminals in the executive branch and protecting the America that I want back. So once again thanks for the voices of reason and information in the "long night" in America. Sincerely, Candee
Kimberly from Marysville
I pledge to listen to 1090 at least 8 hours a day, mon.thru fri. since I have been for 3 years now and will continue to do so. Thanx 1090, TRUTH TO POWER!
David from Lynnwood
I already listen to all of Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Rachael Maddow Randi Rhodes and go to sleep with Jon Elliot. (I am not too crazy about Ed "republican-lite" Schultz.)
Carol from Olympia
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 for a minimum of two hours a day. I have already told several friends to listen. Hearing the truth is the reason I listen as well as for entertainment. Thank you for your honesty, integrity, and support for America and our Constitution.
Roland from Snohomish
Moving here from Texas I discovered your radio station. Listening to KPTK has enlightened me and the air personalities are interesting, ear grabbing and funny. I feel sorry for the people back home they do not hear the other side. I listened to Stephanie, Big Eddy and Randi Rhodes. Plus weekends the garden shows, home show, ring of fire, and Sam Seder. Many more other shows as well. (Where is the vacation show?) That guy from NBC… Anyway. I ordered bumper stickers too. I also am looking to buy from some of your sponsors around my area. To show my appreciation they advertise on your station. I have done everything but offer to work for you all. I guess I pledge to be a 1090 supporter. Need I say more……
Linda from Snohomish
i listen every day for 4-10 hrs, in the car and in the office. i pay attention to the advertisers and i use their products whenever possible. progressive radio is very necessary in our country today. your work is important.
Linda from Lake Stevens
i listen every day... i LOVE Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow, and Stephanie Miller. Ring of Fire on weekends is the best! i know your sponsors and i buy their products including thundering hooves, best paints, and i hope to get to the portage cafe soon. if i ever need a plumber, i will call the Rad Dyke Plumber! love those commercials. keep up the good work. your voices of reason have kept me sane the past 6 plus years of torture.
Jane from Seattle
I have been listening to AM1090 since I found it 4-5 years ago. I also tell all who will listen about everything I hear/learn. LOVE this station! I also have an AM1090 window sticker in three (3) of my car windows along with all my stickers from NOT A NUMBER! Often I sleep with my station playing so I can get it by osmosis! We must spread the Truth and Am1090 is fighting the good fight with us. We love you out here! Keep on speaking our PEACE. We will prevail. So, here's my pledge, but I've been on the mission a very long time. Jane22, HuffPO
Blair from Kenmore
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 for at least three hours a day and inform all of my friends and family about Seattle's progressive talk radio station.
Gene from Olalla
This is not only a pledge, it's a statement of fact...I listen to KTPK every workday, M-F. I start with Thom Hartmann, and listen all the way through to Rachel Maddow. I love the variety of the hosts, as well as news content and perspectives I can'tget anywhere else. Thank you, thank you!
Tim from Redmond
I can't pledge to listen 2 hours a day, but I do pledge to buy from AM 1090 sponsors. I currently buy meat from Thundering Hooves, have bought Best Paint from Greenwood Hardware, have been to Portage Bay Cafe at least 6 times, and we even bought a new car from Michael's Toyota because they sponsor the traffic reports.
JS from Seattle
I'm addicted to AM1090....I'm a real Earlybird, so my radio is on around 5am, and I listen throught the day! I can't live without it. My friends and I are always talking about what we heard that day. And I've told family and friends out of state to STREAM IT ON THEIR COMPUTERS. I LOVE AM1090!
Lynn from Issaquah
This is the easiest pledge I've ever made, as I have been listening to this station for at least two years and spreading the information that I glean from Thom Hartman, big Eddie, and Rachael Maddow to everyone who will listen!
Kate from Tacoma
I pledge to continue my usual practice of listening to KPTK AM1090 from 6AM to 11 PM Monday through Friday, and from noon till 11PM on the weekends Hadn't listened to AM radio for at least twenty years. Since Air America and progressive talk started here in 2004 I haven't listened to anything else, ask my husband. Every radio I own is permanently set to AM1090, the car, the truck, both receivers, numerous portables- actually bought a shower radio. I buy from your sponsors every chance I get, love hearing about and attending the rallies and book signings etc. Tell everyone I meet, sent links to your site to my address book. Have the bumper stickers and clings on the vehicles, made business card sized "flyers" for KPTK AM1090 and some progressive websites that I leave in the magazines and periodicals in waiting rooms and on bulletin boards at the grocery stores etc. I love Stephanie and the Mooks, Thom, Randi, Rachel, Mike Malloy (wish he was live), Sam, Laura, Bobby and Mike from Ring of Fire, all your hosts. Don't know what I did before you all started broadcasting here. Yes, my name is Kate and I am an addict. Thank you!
Martin from Bothell
I listen to AM1090 an average of 3 hours daily. I am a big fan of the Young Turks, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, and Rachel Maddow. On the weekends I listen to Radio Nation, Sam Seder, and Ring of Fire. I still don't quite understand why Mike Malloy is on the air and Mark Marin is not, but 1090 and Air America have been essential to my sanity, and I thank you.
Randy from Olympia
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 at least 2 hours a day. I also pledge to impart the knowledge I receive from listening to AM 1090 and Air America to counteract the drivel and inane talking points I hear from the right wingers I encounter every day.
Michael from Seattle
Pledge? Hell, I consider it my duty, and the duty of every Citizen of sound mind and body to listen to as much AM 1090 radio as possible. You don't have to agree with what is said, but at least insure you understand what is at stake on the topics discussed. It's the Honorable thing to do.
Vincent from Monroe
My pledge is to inform all like minded thinking individuals about your forum to counter the broadcasting naturals.
George from Seattle
Listen when at all possible and encourage others to do the same to open their minds.

Richardson for President!
Deborah from Tacoma
I pledge to listen to 4-6 hours of AM 1090 radio everyday. I already do! I learn many new things everyday. Things that really matter, or should matter to all of us. No "ferrets playing harmonicas." I feel so much more informed because of listening to all the shows, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Stephanie Miller, and Mike Molloy, Rachel Maddow, and John Elliot. Thank you, AM 1090, for having progressive talk radio onthe air for helping those of us out here who question things feel sane, for educating and informing us, and for being the voice, sometimes the only voice, in the wilderness. Thank you also for providing thoughtful, insightful, and in-depth commentary on the most important issues of our time.
Ramon from Puyallup
Love Stephanie Miller and Randi Rhodes keep up the good work. I'll let my friends and co-workers know about the station. I also check your website events page for things I like to do. By the way I work in childcare, do lobbying for them and the children issues.

Glenn from Bonney Lake
1090 IS ON 8 HOURS A DAY AT MY WORK AND MOST OF THE TIME WHEN I'M WORKING OUTSIDE AT HOME AND ON MY DAYS OFF. BUT EARLY (4:00 TO 7:00)IN THE MORINING FOX SPORTS 1090 AND YOUR STATION CLASH AND I CAN NOT GET A CLEAR SIGNAL UNTIL I GET CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT, SO I MISS MOST OF THE YOUNG TURKS.

C. from Seattle
I pledge to increase my dosage of AM 1090 at every possible opportunity, to continue to quote news and entertainment from the likes of Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman,Randi Rhodes and add Mike Maloy as much as possible. Working from home now so am at6-8 hours per day, WhooHoo! If you add Free Thought Radio (now carried on 14 Air America stations, I can increase by another hour. Duane from Carnation
I've been with your station since it started its Air America connection. I listen day and night to it. It's with me when I fall asleep and when I wake up. Keep up the good work. You have my total support.
Cindra from Seattle
I easily listen to AM 1090 an hour a day. On my days off it is closer to 3 hours. This station keeps me informed and up to date with things that have a lot of meaning to me.
Todd from Seattle
I pledge to listen 9 hrs a day on weekdays. Even when I am working at the Pike Place Market I have it turned on so all of the millions of customers coming in the shop get indoctrinated.
Alyson from East Olympia
I listen on the way to work and on the way home and whenever I am in my car. I hate it when I am in an area where all I can get is right wing blabber. Thank goodness for 1090!!
Seth from Seattle
I pledge to listen to the entire Mike Malloy and Randi Rhodes show four nights a week while I drive pizzas for a living. Though I'm a music lover I realize air america is on the cultural cutting edge of our society and that I'm a lucky man to have such voices on the air.
Eric from Clinton
I pledge to listen at least 4 hours per day. And in fact I already listen to at least 4 hours per day. Where I work the machines generate lots of noise in the AM band so I stream KPTK and use a tiny FM transmitter connected to the computer broadcastKPTK to a portable radio. Keep up the good work!
Barbara from Seattle
I listen to The Young Turks and the beginning of Stephanie Miller and try to catch Thom Hartmann on my way. I come in to the end hour of Randi Rhodes and usually hear most of Mike Malloy and John Elliott. On Sunday after noon I catch The Ring of Fire and Richard Green's program.
Paula from Everett
I am a visual artists spending many hours in my studio in Mukilteo. I am an avid listener of AM 1090. Everyday, I feel so thankful to all of those that have the real news on radio. I listen to Thom Hartman, who is such a fine educator and brillant to the core. I listen to ED from noon to three. Rachel Maddow and Randi Rhodes...I listen to a minimum of six hours a day , of 1090. I can tell you that there are a few ads that I am very tired of but thankful for their support of 1090. Keep up the great work!
Terry from Shoreline
Our car radio is set to 1090. I get to listen driving back and forth from work 3 days a week. On my days off I listen when I'm in the car. I have listened to it in the house as well. Some of my coworkers listen as well and we discuss at work. We have some neocons at work so we can keep them informed of the truths they never hear about from their side. Keep up the great work you do! Terry
James from Seattle
I listen to am 1090 a least six hours a day and told at least a dozen friends!!
Jim from Rymsza
I will listen to AM 1090 each day I am in my car. I typically flip around to the righties for amusement, but consider 1090 my home port. I also have my home office radio set to AM 1090 and, because it does not have a push button selector, keep it there because changing the station is such a pain. Keep up the good work! -Jim
Billy from Tacoma
I spend an hour in morning listening to Stephanie Miller. I spend my lunch listing to Tom Hartman and Ed Schultz. I spend 2 hours listening to Randi Rhodes. I get a little time with Rachel Maddow, but not as much as I would like to... I have given up all my music and sports stations, because of the Bush Crime Family... I need more information on what our government is doing to us as a country, and your station is opening up my eyes. Thanks you for all you have done, and I have actually bought product from one of the sponsors... Billy
Kenn from Renton
I pledge to have an ""am1090seattle" bumper sticker on my car at all times along with an "anti-bush" bumper sticker.
Jean from Federal Way
I listen to AM1090 pretty much all day every day starting at 9 a.m with Thom Hartmann. This includes week ends. The only time I change to another program is in the evening when I can't hear it any more. I depend on AM1090 to find out what is going on in the world, in Wash. D.C. and the U.S. (which is pretty much not available in the corporate media). I've been listening to AM1090 every since I found it (several years ago). Keep up the good work!
Graeme from Lacey
I pledge to listen at least two hours a day. That's easy since my car radio is tuned to 1090--always. Keep up the good work.
Tom from Tacoma
I already listen to AM 1090 at least five hours per day, for five days per week so I will pledge that much. I will also listen on Saturday when there is no Cougar football. Cougar football should be taped and then broadcast after 6:00 PM. I will askas many of my friends as I can to listen.
Linda from Poulsbo
I promise to listen to AM 1090 at least four hours per day, which is what I am already doing.
Pat from Edmonds
The easiest pledge EVER!! I already listen to 1090 ALL the time! I love the line up and listen to every show as often as I can. Everyone I know gets the real news from me....they are often surprised at what isn't on the news. Aren't we all?? I also make an effort to support those businesses that support 1090...we need to keep it on the air. It took a long time to get here and I can't stand the thought of ever loosing it!
Carl from Olympia
Not only do I pledge my ears as a listener to 1090, not only will I tell my friends that I listen to 1090, but I will make a formal announcement to as many Air America call-in broadcasts as I can about my cause; if you're tired of Bush, send me yoursupport of $10 so that I can make it to Washington, D.C. and I can show Bush how much he doesn't matter to the national populace. Thank you, my fellow Americans. Carl Bond carlbond.com
